That's a pretty neat puzzle game! It really enjoyed playing it. Love how the mechanics are introduced and explored. I'd love to see a bit more narrative framing here, but 15 decent puzzle levels in such a short time is already and achievement. There were some collision glitches but overall it was a smooth experience. That said I would add a pull button, because only push complicated some solution and forced me to restart the level without any pay off. Seemed like more of nuisance rather than a proper mechanic. I think the concept could be developed further.

Genuinely one of the most enjoyable games I played in this jam! It did not run on my browser for some reason, crashing out the browser and even the downloadable version can be a bit funky when starting, but man the game is so fun when it runs. Very interesting idea of using death to warp in levels. Great job guys! I would love to hear your take on my submission as well :)

Developer

Thank you for the kind words! Sorry for the performance issues, GPU particles in godot unfortunately are very unoptimized for whatever reason, atleast for web games. Will check out your game too!

Love the extension of mechanics and how the puzzles are designed. Small but important design choices like the quickness of respawning in a game revolving around the death mechanic make it very enjoyable and snappy to play, overall great job

The portal mechanic combined with the death mechanic made the gameplay surprisingly fun and interesting.

This game was very fun to play! That was great level design, at no moment the puzzles felt impossible(or felt like brute forcing it) and often it made me rethink my approach, i really felt clever playing the game! I was glued to the game to the very end! Music and art felt solid and cute, the entire experience felt very polished!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm really happy you enjoyed it :]

I really enjoyed my time with your game! The level and puzzle design was really solid and I never got stuck for too long, and I was always able to reason about what I needed to do. I appreciate the effects you added for things like the death loop and the portal, it was a very effective for the making the game feel good to play. My feedback would probably just be to invest more time into visuals and audio to make it more satisfying to play while figuring out the puzzles, but overall a really great submission. Nice job!

Honestly I think this game is my favourite that I have rated so far. I am a big fan of puzzle games and ESPECIALLY the portal games, and I think that your implementation of portals was fantastic! I think your idea was especially creative too! 10/10! This game 100% deserves the #1 spot

I wouldn't be surprised if Portal was an inspiration for this project. Loved how you had to use your momentum when jumping between portals. The puzzles were pretty good too. Well done!

Developer

thank you
