The visuals are some of the best I have seen on this jam, they're extremely great. The audio is very well done, it even speeds up the music (which absolutely kicks) when someone is about to lose, adding intensity. The mechanics and gameplay of dropping gemstones and combining them to make bigger gemstones while avoiding running out of space. And you can play with an AI or another local player?!

Masterpiece game ⭐

Visual is amazing. The scale literal mechanic is somehow more challenging than meets the eye, reminded me of Suika. Great PvP feeling with very on theme twist. Might need tutorial since this game can get technical for people who is not familiar with the gameplay before. Good job on this game! :)

Developer

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed our game. We'll definitely include a tutorial in a updated version! :)

The game looks amazing! A very fun and cute take on the Suika game! I loved the characters and the themes for it, it was a lot of fun!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I'm happy to hear you liked the art I did and enjoyed the game!

Really neat take on the theme! I actually find this gameplay loop much more engaging than suika game or other similar ones because of the natural time pressure it puts on you. I eventually found a strategy that works maybe a bit too well, as I was able to beat the hardest AI difficulty level - I think the AI maybe prioritizes quickly dropping gems a bit too much over making smart plays. Maybe for game balance there should be a slightly larger hitbox between the gems so it's a bit less finicky, but otherwise it's really well designed as-is!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the game! We'll try to create more challenging AI in the future and the hitbox problem will be also taken care of. It's quiet annoying when the gems don't fuse while they are clearly touching!

It's a very nice game well done ^^

I've always said that Suika Game was just physics 2048.  If that's true, then this is PvP physics 2048 with great art and waifus plus match-three and VS Tetris characteristics. And it's wonderful.

It does feel like a match takes a long time to finish, so it could use some tuning to get it feeling as fast and frantic as matches of VS matches of Tetris or PuyoPuyo can get, but otherwise the visuals and mechanics of the scales raising and tipping closer and closer to the fill line was a very very clever way to bring those games' dynamics to the Suika Game concept. I'd love to see this finished up with the online connectivity you've teased in the start menu and more customization options, I can totally see myself wasting a few hours with friends suika-ing off against one another.

(I also want to note that it seems that all of the game's sounds seem to only be controlled by the master volume slider)

Thank you for the feedback! Glad to hear that you enjoyed our game! We too noted that the matches are taking too long and are currently working on balancing the game so we can get that more fast paced frantic feeling there. I'm happy that you see potential in this project, hopefully we'll get more polished full version of the game out someday in near future!

I'll be looking forward to it!

The art is hot(especially the elf)!! And it was a lot of fun playing with friends. The ai destroyed me tho

Developer(+1)

I'm happy to hear that you liked the characters! It's great that you had fun with the multiplayer. Don't worry, I have beaten the ai only once myself. We'll be sure to adjust the balance and maybe add some more hot characters once the jam is over!

Ah 2048, the bane of my existence XD I didn't quite understand how the game decided how the scales sat but it was a lot of fun!

Glad to hear you had fun with our game! ^^

Wish there was a tutorial because it took me a few minutes to understand what's going on lol. But the art style is so cute! Good job.

Developer

Thank you! Glad you liked my art style and took the time to learn the game! Other people said that too that it is bit hard to get into if you haven't played anything similar before. We'll be sure to include tutorial in full version if we ever make that!
