Loved the idea and the progression of difficulty along the levels! Very Cool!

I love the idea behind this, but I think i didnt like the repetition of the maze finding so much.. Might I suggest considering making the brain maze like a "one time" challenge for each creature that eats you? Maybe its just the initial puzzle that lets you "unlock" the creature which I found cool :) And then maybe the challenge could be that each creature has different ways of moving/controls?
Like i said, I love the idea behind this, but I think the continuous maze finding wasnt my favorite aspect.

The style is amazing though!

Really enjoyed the take on the theme! Great style too <3

Style is really amazing, wow!

Really neat idea and execution! I think getting stuck on the brain ridges really frustrated me at first, especially the ant level, because it was very tedious for no reason (I wish the neurons were closer in that level) but it got better for the rest of the game, and it was really funny to see the animation of the next animal eating it. I also enjoyed the vastly different perspectives and controls for each kind of animal. Really well done for such a short game jam!!

Funny game with a cool concept, but it took me a while to understand it and see the connection to the gamejam theme haha. But for a game made in 48 hours, it's really good!

Love the concept, the title jumped out at me right away!

I feel like one additional animal would have been the perfect number, but given this was entirely made in 48 hours I'm very impressed!

Hahaha tahts a fun idea. Kind of reminds me with what we made. Great job, had a lot of fun!

You're right, your game is pretty similar (and I enjoyed it too!).  Maybe one day we could have a game where you're a tiny worm controlling a giant mech

That was really cool game with really cool concept. I feel like the gameplay is too simple tho, but I don't know hot to make it better. Enjoyed playing it. Good luck with your future projects!

Also it will be much appreciated if you play & rate my game!

Great arts and gameplay. Instead of the popular "You are what you eat", you made it "You are what eat's you". Really creative with the neuron signal move stuff.

Really intestesting (and gross) concept! The game is a bit repetitive but it's pretty fun, and the visuals are really cool!

Wish I could control dino :(

cool concept!! congrats

Really interesting concept, I'm not a fan of the first level and just repeatedly going back and forth, the next few levels were much better and interactive, although I didn't really understand the eagle level, I guess I just had to reach a certain point? Wish I got to play as the T-Rex too! Overall it was fun and good job.

Trigger warning for gross brain worms!
Neat concept, disappointed by not having 1 more level!

This game is disgusting! But amazing art. Love the concept of it. A bit sad you didn't get to play as the dinosaur. I feel like the brain maze got a bit to long but still a fun game. Was fun to see what you were going to turn into next.

Developer

Thank you very much! We also wanted to play as the dinosaur... maybe in the next game :)

I'm really intrigued by the idea of this game, but I couldn't figure out how to get past the screen where I'm in the brain. If you post what the controls are, I would love to try it out!

Developer

You can control the worm (inside the brain) with WASD or the Arrow keys.

Use the neurons in the host animal's brain to force it to do things for you (e.g. walk). Your goal is to guide the creature to freedom! Or, to be eaten by the next creature :)
