I think the game needs a more clear explanation, even if just a little message at the beginning, of how you’re meant to play it. I had to check the game’s description! That aside, the mechanic was interesting and with some more time I’m sure some interesting levels could’ve been done. Liked it :)
cool game, I don't think I am cut for archery. Maybe I should touch more grass.
Thanks, mate 🤝
(And, after the game jam, I think that most of us could also benefit from touching more grass 🌿)
Really good Idea of scaling arrows, although really hidden. I had to look for in explanation page of game jam to figure it out

Wow I'm a terrible archer but this is a fun lil archery game! I think it would be nice to have a numerical display of the power and angle of your shot so that you can remember and adjust for next time, I don't know how many arrows I wasted on level 3!
This is really creative! I think with more time, this could become a genuinely fun idea, with projectiles being able to change size midair. The physics were very responsive, and I can tell you spent time on that.
The controls felt a bit jank though, especially with having to position my mouse at the far right of the screen to fully draw back the bow, as well as having to spam the "grow" and "shrink" buttons instead of just being able to hold them down. With a bit of polish, this could feel really good.
Well, you're actually able to just hold down the buttons, but that's a clear sign that I could have done a better job in the feedback of the inputs 🤷♂️
Thanks a lot for playing it and for taking the time to share your view 🤝
I tried holding down the buttons, but it didn't seem to work for me! Or, if it was working, it wasn't changing the size fast enough for me to notice! Still a sick game though.
fun game! so much anticipation after taking a shot to see where it will go. i found myself really cheering on my arrows and when I just barely missed feeling upset (not in a bad way, just excited to try taking another shot!) great game :)
Thanks for the kind words, mate 🤝
Cool idea. The physics work really nicely.
I like the green aesthetic.
I appreciate that you've taken the time to try it and write your analysis 🤝
Nice entry! The gameplay reminded me of the flash game "bowman" that i played as a kid on newgrounds haha :)
One thing i found an issue is that i find it difficult to aim because my mouse is limited by the bounds of the screen so trickier levels like the one with the rock are difficult to accomplish.
But great job otherwise :)
Yeah, I get you. I thought that the restricted screen could be a problem, but I also kinda wanted to just put it to the test and, most importantly, it was easier that way 🤷♂️
Thanks for playing it and for the feedback (&, btw, I also played Bowman a kid 👌)
I struggled to hit the targets but I really liked the art!
