I actually enjoyed the hell out of this. super fun and challenging puzzles.   10/10 would play it again!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Damn, that was good !!!

Happy you finished your game this year ! The result is amazing !

The controls were a little slippery, it was very, very, hard to stop the character and bring its speed to 0.

Big GG !!!

Developer

Thanks so much! Sorry about the slippy controls. I feel I'm so much more happy with the finished product this year.

Slippery controls made it a bit hard. It was pretty fun overall and also loved the level scaling thing!

Developer

Thanks!

Very smart. Cool transition animations. The level evolution was a great mechanic. Nice job.

Developer

Thanks!

I love this game so much! The idea is simple but so genius. It's a zen experience seeing the world expand each time you reach a goal.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I really like describing it as "zen", its not a word I'd normally think of but fits the game quite nicely!

Interesting for the level to keep expanding and using existing level geometry. Wished the controls are less slippery though, or at least let us restart from the last collected blue square if we died.

Developer

Sorry about the slipperyness.

Submitted(+1)

Hey, don't feel bad. There's only 4 days to make the game so don't be too hard on yourself ^.^ I'm sure if there's more time this would be even better.

Developer

Thanks for the positivity! :D

Very lovely! Simplistic themes with awesome level design and some fitting background music made it way more fun :) Certainly I really like this one, good job!

Developer

Thank you!

One of my favorite games of the jam so far, 10/10!!! Great art style, nice and simple. Level design quality is off the charts, all the mechanics are explained implicitly yet very clearly to the player which is excellent!! I played through the whole thing and enjoyed it all, if you ended up working on this game further and releasing it I would 100% download it!

Developer

THANKS SO MUCH! :D

I absolutely adore the art style, the movement feels a little too slidely though, I'd except the player to come to a halt much quicker when landing

Developer

Thanks! Sorry about the slidyness.

Submitted

Have to agree with @FasorFox, nice idea about the world expanding with progression, but please dial down the slippage, please...

Don't get me wrong though, everything else is nice.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Sorry about the slippyness, I gave an explanation under @FasorFox's comment.

This minimalist approach is awesome, really like it! This would be perfect on a handheld retro console. The pink blocks were fantastic in their design since they felt more rewarding to master as compared to the red blocks for instance. Good work!

Developer

Thank you!

A cool idea with a simple premise! It was enjoyable with a good challenge, congratulation for making this!

Developer

Thank you!

always love the simple bright colours on black background style- keeps it clean and readable! Could easily be polished up and some feedback sounds added to really take it to the next level- but ik its a jam;  ive also skipped them many times aha. Would be really cool to see this developed past the jam :D

Developer

Thanks so much! Also I was going to add Sfx, but I really like everything in my games being mine, and I didn't really have time to make any.

Submitted(+1)

This is a pretty cute idea going on. I'm just a bit frustrated with the ice physics with the character as I kept sliding into hazards.

Still, nice concept. Nice job. :)

Developer(+1)

I'm sorry 'bout the ice physics. The previous game I made had like really really icy physics so I thought if I tuned it down a good bit it would be better, but I may have underdone it. Thanks btw!

Submitted

You're welcome. :)

Fun game. I think with a little bit more polish in the feedback department (standard stuff like SFX, extra visuals to sell jumps, ect.) this game would be fantastic. I did find the difficulty curve a little frustrating due to the slide-y physics but I ended up getting through it to the end. Good job!

Developer

Thanks! I was going to add SFX but I kinda ran out of time.

Submitted

Its so fun to play. It can be frustrating to go back to the start of a level but yet I wanted to play to the end!

Submitted(+1)

It's fun to play! You could've added a start menu or a tutorial cuz getting directly into the gameplay is probably not a good idea (stupid me thought this is some loading screen 😅).

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I was going to implement a menu, just ran out of time. Also sorry 'bout the loading screen ahh thing. (I probably shouldn't have made the first level the logo of the game)

Submitted

Yeah, no problem! It's a nice game after all!

Submitted(+1)

really epic!!! this is actually so fun to play (and quite satisfying). just like the people below, i think that maybe makign it where the level shrinks instead of fully reseting would be a lot better.. art is epic, game is really cool, 15/15 stars!! :D

Developer

Thanks a ton!

i agree with ZivC about the respawning time for such a challenging platformer. i think you could be more forgiving to the player in general. however, the presentation is excellent and i really like the expanding levels!

Developer

I tried to make the hurtbox smaller so that you could make riskier maneuver, but is there something else you feel may help? Thanks!

Submitted(+1)

That was probably a good choice to make! However, there are certain areas where the player may try to jump beneath a low ceiling or jump into a one tile-high passage, but they fall short. You should avoid these situations in the level design, and when they do appear, try to be generous. For instance, if a player hits a wall but would have landed on top of it if they were just slightly higher, you could nudge them upward.

Developer

Cheers for the advice!

Cool game ! Maybe the respawning animation is quite long and it kills the flow a little, but I enjoyed playing it :)

Developer

Ok! Thanks so much for the feadback!
