Very funny concept and I enjoy how its executed, measuring things as a gameplay mechanic is pretty unique and novel. Also, all the models and general aesthetics of the game are great! Making a 3D game during the timeframe is commendable on its own, but learning modeling and making your first 3D game is even more impressive! Nice job! My only critique would be that the points are a bit meaningless, it would have been neat if there was some sort of overall ranking that factored in your combined score and time, or some in-game way to keep track of high scores. Nonetheless, very fun game! :)
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it and your critique is appreciated.
Had a good time playing, I also thought the graphics were really good. Took me a while to figure out what to do, but did eventually. My only problems were that the measurements were difficult to right down, and that I felt like you looked up and down too fast, might just have been me though. Overall, I had fun playing and thought it was a pretty good take on the theme. If you have time would you ming checking out our game? Thanks.
I understood what to do immidiatly! love the concept that a banana is a ruler! fun gameplay nice presentation! great job!
I'm glad you understood it fast. It makes me happy. I'll check out your game as soon as i can. :))
After walking around the map for a bit i can confirm, that really is one of the camps ever.
But quite fun and chill game! Not 100% sure on how much it fits the theme. But i really like that it isn't 'this game is game X but now YOU are the villain/game/npc!'. So i would call this a fun and creative use of the theme!
Also you have my respect for actually making a 3d game and assets, something i haven't yet been brave enough for. Downloading blender as the jam starts sounds like insanity to me, but you really made it work!
Well, it felt insane to me as well but i had some guidance from an experienced friend so i got to know the basic stuff pretty fast.
Im really glad you enjoyed the game and liked my interpretation of the theme.
Very neat! You should be proud of the amount of modeling you did for this, and also the general vibe. Last but not least it's a fun idea for a game, although I personally think the connection to the theme is a little weak.
Funny concept
Very creative idea, to turn this joke into its own game! Nice to see ideas that are not derived from other games for a change :)
The music sets a relaxing atmosphere that fits the calm gameplay very well.
Thanks, im glad you enjoyed it.
Surely surprised that one banana equals one banana :D
Nicely done with the models!
They do come in all sizes (not shapes, banana is banana shaped) but one banana will always be that same one banana in any universe.
Funny idea, also great job on the models as a blender enthusiast myself, the game looked quite nice. I noticed one bug where you could launch yourself in the air by forcing the banana to collide with smaller objects and the fact that the Finish! button reveals all the solutions immediately kind of gives the objective away a bit, but I found it surprisingly relaxing to play 🍌
That way didn't even cross my mind. Technically you can spam start finish and learn all the answers and then just do it again and know each and every one without even playing. But what's the point then. Thanks for bringing that up I totally missed it.
Really well done getting your first 3d models out in less than 48hrs, the world and models look good. Good luck with the rest of the jam :)
Thanks, you too mate.
Didn't think I would measure anything with a banana today, Pleasantly surprised!
Life is full of surprises.
