Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the creative direction. As for the cards, I just really liked the aesthetic when making the art (definitely didn’t steal that idea from Cuphead). I think we would have added at least one additional skill had we had the time, I could actually imagine a random system where only 2 out of multiple skills are available at a time or something similar really spicing things up.

I really like the idea of alternative timelines, but I think you could have made the superposition more meaningful in a way. Definitely a fun mechanic, maybe you should continue working on this and polish it a bit further. But it seems like a promising game to me anyways!

I’m seriously digging the music and underwater atmosphere and although I’m wayy to impatient for the floaty controls this game is seriously fun to play. You should turn this into a full-on unfair rage game, I can really see some potential there! There weren’t too many sprites, lighting or other things to look at however, but that definitely wouldn’t have fit into the tight time frame anymore.

Yeah I know the vaporwave aesthetic, I’ve just never seen it used in a game this way before. It definitely works out tho!

Loved the visuals and the camera switching, the character controls weren’t super polished but you did a great job on creating this eerie atmosphere. You should definitely keep working on this, I think it could become a great horror game with some more action and more to explore!

This is an awesome idea and really well executed, although I got stuck at some points because of the doors, as others have mentioned before, I really had fun playing this game, the story was really captivating!

Visually really impressively executed, I love the retro art style, the juice and the moles, however I think you could have made the gameplay a bit more chaotic, add combos etc. The game is definitely fun to play, but at some point it gets repetitive because of lacking variation. Criminally underrated though, I hope you can get some more reviews! Edit: obviously the idea is just funny in the first place

Glad you liked it! That would be hilarious, maybe next time haha

I LOVE the idea and the art style, this mountain is so gorgeous and the UI is very well-designed as well. Really underrated entry, I genuinely enjoyed this game!

Very polished movement! But I think the camera movement makes the game very difficult to play and the music gets old rather quickly. Nice game though

Love the pixel art, nice idea to add more attack patterns, that made this game a really fun one to play. I think the controls could have been made a bit more interesting than just the standard flying, but that might escape the scope of 48 hours. Well done!

Very relaxing, satisfying gameplay and lovely pixel art!

10/10, I LOVE the art style, the music, the atmosphere and the emotion, it’s so short and simple but a really well-made game! I could really see this evolve into even more.

Really enjoyed the 3D/2D art style and the controls are very polished. Interesting concept to just run away instead of fighting the player!

Gets kind of easy when you just place blocks below yourself (Minecraft style) and the controls are a bit floaty, but nice presentation and sounds!

Interesting idea and nice presentation. But please cleanse my mind of the humanoid paws in the beginning lmao

LOVE the visuals. Just gorgeous. Great game!

Interesting art style, the game kind of reminds me of old online games. Nice job!

Surprisingly fun to play and really great juice. The art style was kind of random but had a cool aesthetic and you did a really good job on the music.

Great idea, I felt like the controls could still be improved, for example with tile based movement so you don’t get stuck at doors, but the levels were well designed!

Great idea and great execution, I really liked the juice this game had! You should have included the credit card declines meme though lol

Thank you!! I’m glad it kind of came together in the end!

Funny idea, also great job on the models as a blender enthusiast myself, the game looked quite nice. I noticed one bug where you could launch yourself in the air by forcing the banana to collide with smaller objects and the fact that the Finish! button reveals all the solutions immediately kind of gives the objective away a bit, but I found it surprisingly relaxing to play 🍌

The art and music are just perfect and the grade of polish you achieved is just extraordinary. Great level design and pacing, the only thing that bothered me was how floaty the jump was, but this was definitely my favourite submission so far!

It’s such a cozy and wholesome game, I really love the art and the music. Also really nice writing and I liked the drag mechanic, that really made the game stand out from other visual novels I’ve played before!

I liked the controls and how many settings you added (but where ray tracing?) and the game was fun to play, however some doors kind of didn’t serve their purpose of keeping you inside the building and level 2 was kind of difficult to do. Great game otherwise, loved the music!

Nice idea, very polished and fun to play once you figure out how you to actually damage this guy. However, some instructions on how to throw stuff and what keys to press would have been nice and my hand got kind of tired of all that throwing, but I’m not sure how you could replace this mechanic with something less drag-intensive. Really good job though!

Spectacular visuals and great gameplay, I love how the game forces you to use the new tiles instead of just building the easiest possible solution. The concept gets a bit boring after some time, but I don’t think it’s possible to add this much content to a 48 hour jam. With this time in mind, this is a really impressive game, 9,5/10!

I absolutely love the calm atmosphere in this game as well as how many ways you have to solve each puzzle. The levels are really minimalistic but clever. However, I think it kind of takes a tad too long to rotate the level, but maybe that’s just my corrupted attention span.

Really funny concept, I also like the DIY-like art style, fits the game’s plot very well! A cool take on the jam’s topic with an interesting mechanic.

This game seems really polished and just perfectly executed, I love how stressful it gets when PagMan gets to eat a diamond. Great music too!

Really creative concept and great execution, I really enjoyed the levels, which are really well-designed and don’t get boring despite the concept remaining the same throughout. The art style also fits really well!

I really love the concept of just calmly testing your typing skills to a lush soundtrack and the game’s art style is really well-executed too. Great job, keep it up!

This is a very creative and well-excecuted concept. The graphics were really nice as well.

The graphics are gorgeous and the robot feels really good to control. Losing abilities instead of gaining some is a very creative idea I’ve never seen before. Great work!

I really like the mysterious atmosphere and feel of this game, especially the visuals. The dithering and the detail of occasional rats and ghosts appearing on screen along with the slow discovery of the story were fitting together really well here. The color palette also makes you feel like you’re in a photo taken in the 19th century.

We were unable to submit the game in time due to an error message ocurring, it is working now, but the submission period is over now. It would be great if there could be some way to add it again, since we’ve worked really hard on it.
