Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the creative direction. As for the cards, I just really liked the aesthetic when making the art (definitely didn’t steal that idea from Cuphead). I think we would have added at least one additional skill had we had the time, I could actually imagine a random system where only 2 out of multiple skills are available at a time or something similar really spicing things up.

I’m seriously digging the music and underwater atmosphere and although I’m wayy to impatient for the floaty controls this game is seriously fun to play. You should turn this into a full-on unfair rage game, I can really see some potential there! There weren’t too many sprites, lighting or other things to look at however, but that definitely wouldn’t have fit into the tight time frame anymore.
Visually really impressively executed, I love the retro art style, the juice and the moles, however I think you could have made the gameplay a bit more chaotic, add combos etc. The game is definitely fun to play, but at some point it gets repetitive because of lacking variation. Criminally underrated though, I hope you can get some more reviews! Edit: obviously the idea is just funny in the first place
Funny idea, also great job on the models as a blender enthusiast myself, the game looked quite nice. I noticed one bug where you could launch yourself in the air by forcing the banana to collide with smaller objects and the fact that the Finish! button reveals all the solutions immediately kind of gives the objective away a bit, but I found it surprisingly relaxing to play 🍌
Nice idea, very polished and fun to play once you figure out how you to actually damage this guy. However, some instructions on how to throw stuff and what keys to press would have been nice and my hand got kind of tired of all that throwing, but I’m not sure how you could replace this mechanic with something less drag-intensive. Really good job though!
Spectacular visuals and great gameplay, I love how the game forces you to use the new tiles instead of just building the easiest possible solution. The concept gets a bit boring after some time, but I don’t think it’s possible to add this much content to a 48 hour jam. With this time in mind, this is a really impressive game, 9,5/10!
I really like the mysterious atmosphere and feel of this game, especially the visuals. The dithering and the detail of occasional rats and ghosts appearing on screen along with the slow discovery of the story were fitting together really well here. The color palette also makes you feel like you’re in a photo taken in the 19th century.
We were unable to submit the game in time due to an error message ocurring, it is working now, but the submission period is over now. It would be great if there could be some way to add it again, since we’ve worked really hard on it.
