Oh boy do I love clay. I've used it in past jams (2020, 2021, and post-jam version of my 2019 game), and it makes everything look super cool. Plus you've actually got technical artistic skill as opposed to me. Coolest looking game I've seen in the jam.

Developer

thanks for playing jermrellum! oh I understand that love =) I also do love clay and even tried real stopmotion with clay in a few projects in the past, it eventually requires a lot of work but it is sooo satisfying to do and to play

This is such a cool game! It's really rare that I get to see claymation in a video game it's really well done. The gameplay is pretty entertaining too

Very nice! The clay figures are very cute, and the gameplay is interesting, as you need to take both Claycula’s own position into account, and where the blocks he can walk to can go.

Great game! Everything is working great! Simple controls, fun gameplay, great art for the game! Definitely one of the most fun games I've played in this jam so far! Good job!

A bit confusing at first but dam is the rpesentation unparalleled. Truly a unique game in the jam.

Developer

Thanks Popotegaming, glad you liked it =)

I loved the art style of your game. I was a little confused in the beginning about what I'm supposed to do, but eventually I understood the concept. Again, a very creative idea and visually appealing design!

The visual aspect is incredible, although the game could offer more. I'm sure that if you update it after the jam, you'll have an amazing game!

The clay visuals are amazing! And i loved the trippy style.  Only one problema is that sometimes the platform stuck in random ways. It was a bit difficult to plan where to go since the vision of the camera is limited, it could be useful for en eventual post-release version to add a mini map on the top corner of the screen where you can see the other platforms and so you can have a chance to plan your next moves.

Btw amazing job! Good luck with the jam!

Developer

Heeey Matteo, thanks for playing =)

oh yeah we kinda gave up fixing that 5 min before the end and went with what we could manage to fix until then lollol

the trippy style was an idea we had in the last day and I am really glad we managed to make that work, it was really dull with a gray background lol

Love the clay art! So refreshing to see.

Developer

thanks for playing sirikambalimath =) glad you liked it

The art style is amazing! I have no clue how you did it. I didn't really understand what to do at first but eventually figured it out. I did keep getting stuck on blocks which was odd.

Developer

thanks for playing Quinnster

oh it was basically a rendering workflow from blender to construct3 ^^

oh yeah we are aware the block stuck problem lol

Incredible art and music. Would LOVE to see how it was made.

Developer(+1)

Heeey Scott thanks for playing.

game was made in construct3 with rendered assets from blender by tweaking play 3doh materials. Music was slightly edited but mostly ipad based. =)

Submitted(+3)

Art is incredibly polished (also really liked the music as well)! Was a little confused at the beginning at what to do, but moving the block around was really fun and more-so satisfying. It would be great if each run could have randomized blocks!! There's also a bug in which the middle block would act funky sometimes, but overall I really like this game!! Good job g

Developer(+1)

Heeey Strandie, thanks a lot for playing!

we tried to polish as much as we could in the last few hours lol

we noticed the bugs as the blocks get stuck ... way too late to fix though lmao

thanks for playing

Developer

Heey Helliton thanks a lot for playing =)

The art style is so incredibly unique, and even the game mechanic is quite different from other games! Well done!
P.S. Out of curiosity, how did you make the assets? My instinct was blender, but they have thumbprints on them, did you stop motion?

Please do check out our little game too!

Developer

Heeey Bjoykochar thanks a lot for playing, we just started checking other games as the weekend was really intense lol

yes it was blender, the assets were rendered in blender and exported frame by frame to construct3 where we developed the game.

the clay like looks were accomplished tweaking play 3doh which I just noticed we forgot to mention in the credits.

thanks a lot for playing we should be checking yours in a short =)
