I do love dying (in a videogame)! There is a pretty cool concept and narrative theme behind this, I love games that explore the concept of death and i think a game where you have to die is a great way to approach this theme :]

Good news, I did die!

Great Game! Although at this stage of development, it is rather easy to die using only spikes, I still enjoyed trying to figure out different ways to beat the game and I would love to see that concept expanded in the future. Well, Done!

It's funny. I like these ideas to get yourself killed in some way. Since the hero got great heal ability, there is place for creativity how to kill him.

Or you can just be lazy and use spikes... It's up to you! :D

Interesting concept.

On webGL MacOS I hade some of visual bugs :(

Developer

Oh, that's not ideal, I'm not sure what would be causing those visual bugs. Thank you for raising that though, i'll investigate these and try to fix.

Cool concept! I wish there was more incentive to be creative, but it was fun :)

Don't know if this is intended, but I can kill myself with just unlocking the spikes, by just hovering them below me while I move forward. :D Even just running in circles quick enough kills fast.

Too bad, as the game has a lot of potential for discovering and expanding on ever more elaborate death traps. :D It already felt really good to control the character, now all it needs is some more content.

Hmm, no certainly not intended, I hadn't spotted this bug myself. Thanks for flagging that up :) There was more content planned but I had to descope to get the submission done as I was working alone and behind schedule. Once the rating is finished i'll fix that bug and add in the additional traps/do some further balancing. From feedback I've gotten, there's some strategies that seem too easy to execute, so I think the difficulty needs ramped up a bit.

I liked the art style, it gives you a lot of ways to die but no incentive to be creative ( I just made a circle with all the traps). Maybe "style" points for your death would be better xD. It was a fine polished experience though.

Ah ok, in most games you try to avoid death but in this game death is the goal .. Freud's Death Wish at play!

I enjoyed this game! Loved using the rollers and I can imagine making some pretty elaborate death conveyor belts. Cute art style.

thanks so much for trying out the game, glad you enjoyed playing it 😊

Haha, what an interesting idea. I would've never thought of this for the role reversal, but it is really clever. I tried setting up different traps, but it seems like spike + firepit worked the best. I tried to use the rollers, but it wasn't obvious to me how that would help me die faster. Fun game concept and execution!

thanks so much for your review, glad you enjoyed the game 😊 the idea for the rollers was to allow you to chain lots of spikes together as a build option. Originally there was going to be a trap that increased damage with velocity but I had to cut it due to time constraints sadly
