didn't know what to do when board was full

I was stuck in the high 80s for a while and finally got a game of 95.

Kudos to the artist, all those little portraits were great! Like other comments have said, an easier restart and the "good match" feedback would've been great... but after a few games I was hooked enough on the mechanic that I didn't mind it.

My high-score was 127! I got a few scores in the 90s and really wanted to break a hundred, and then I had a super lucky run to get my 127.

Really fun game, once I fully understood the mechanic, it felt really good trying to perfectly plan my cats. Great work on this entry! :)

Thanks a ton for the kind words and for playing our game so much! Glad you enjoyed it. My personal best is 94.

I got a high-score of 90! The idea of a matchmaking game with cats is a super cute and clever idea. I think some VFX or some sort of visual feedback when good matches are made would be helpful to make the player recognize when they're doing good. Also, some sort of celebration when reaching the end state of the game would help indicate when it has finished.

Overall, I think it's a good design but I think it would be better if you added some quality of life to the UI.  A button to re-try the game after you've finished would be a great addition. Also, the high-score text was kind of small and overlapping the gameplay area which was difficult to find at first and hurt the presentation. Those pixel art cat illustrations are super cute though! Nice job!

Thanks for checking it out! We definitely struggled with the time limit and our programmer almost had the visual feedback for good matches but couldn't get it working in time for it to make it in. Definitely on the same page about end state and restart stuff too! Thanks again!

The vibe is definitely there, gameplay works, but a bummer to always Alt+F4 to restart it! Concept is killer though, like it!

Thanks so much for checking it out! Yeah we were bummed when we realized we didn't have time / forgot to add a restart button lol

Loved the concept :) And the music was so perfect! I wish I could replay without having to exit out of the game every time, but it wasn't prohibitively difficult. Great job!

Yeah sorry about the lack of restart button :( Thanks for playing!

Very cute and fun! I played again and again. I wish there was a replay button to make replaying it easier!

Thank you, and thanks for playing! Yeah restart button woulda helped a lot but that time limit got to us :/

Very cute. The gameplay idea of matching up the types of cats was really cool.

I would have loved to see more feedback when a card was placed, but I could still tell when I was doing well by the score count.

Thanks for the feedback and for checking out our game!
