How does your game fit the theme?
This game is heavily based on the module parts that you can join to your airship, or get destroyed by the enemy. Module parts that join/dock to your airship may block certain functionalities of of another module part that is already connected to your ship. But at the same time, whatever newly added modules could also make your airship stronger!

I did notice its possible to steal blocks from enemies -- not sure if that's a bug or intentional but it did make me feel like a Sky Pirate :)

So, I think that there is a solid idea here with a few notes:

First, I'm not sure if there is a win state. I lost the first time I tried, but I'm not quite sure how, I assume I was shot too many times or something.

I thought that the direction I ran into blocks would affect the placement, but that wasn't always the case.

The cube and fire pixel art are really well done! I like the colors and would have loved to understand more about what each one does (maybe allowing some customization or something would help or something, but it almost reminds me of the gummi ship editor from Kingdom Hearts, if you know what I'm talking about).

I feel like the background didn't quite fit the style, but that was probably more of a time constraint, so no worries there.

Like I said, this is a fairly fun game with a lot of potential. Nice work. :)

I also feel like I should share my masterpiece of a ship:

Developer

Hi there! It's a survival game so you suppose to survive as long as possible.

And you will lose when yr cockpit(the first cube that you start with) takes too much damage.

Wanted to make it more obvious like giving it some cracks or the bullets from enemies are a different color.

It's kinda an airship? so it's above the sea!

Anyway, thank you for your feedback! Appreciate it!

Credits to Saedric for the art!

P.S will fix all the bug after the jam!

A cool game, a good idea just needs a bit more fleshing out. This could really work

Developer

Its going to!

Has a lot of potential great concept! Has some bugs, but that's to be expect in a game jam game.

Good effort.

I like the idea and the music. Other than bugs, I think that there are invisible walls. Might be better to place some blocks to show the off-limit areas.

Didnt have time to add blocks to show off limit areas! so sorry for that! Will add it after the jam

No worries at all! It's totally understandable! Our team also hope to have more time to make the game less buggy and make it better as well. It would be nice if you can try out our game and rate it too!

Maybe not intended, but being able to just grab enemy parts is quite funny. I see a lot of potential to this idea.

I like the concept, but unfortunately, it is very buggy to me :(
