At first i was overwhelmed by the increasing amount of enemies.
It took me a while to realise that you can use the platforms to remove them. The floatiness of the grappling hook made the timing of this very difficult, but it adds a nice unique challenge.

Linking this form of combat with the continent building is awesome. You have to position yourself in a way that causes enemies to move to the position you want to build in while also moving the platform there without it colliding with the island.

The only thing that bothers me a little is the enemy spawning/movement. They can come from any direction at any speed and you'll have to be prepared to dodge them. The fact that they can spawn inside you doesn't help with being able to plan ahead.

Apart from that it's a great concept and a good entry overall.

Fantastic game feel - the sfx and screenshake when as the hexagon islands connect is extremely satisying, and I like how this can be used as a means of attack too! As the others have said, some kind of health system would be great - it can feel bad to just be getting into the swing of things only to be slain by a sudden enemy! That's a small complaint though - seriously nice work!

This was really fun! It felt reminiscent of an old flash game, in a good way! Loved how the enemies got crushed as we pulled the islands together! Awesome work!

One of the most fun games I've played in the game jam. As a concept it offers a lot of avenues to expand into a bigger game where you explore a world of hexes.

fast paced and satisfying when you get your island going

good job.

This game is great! Very original, and surprisingly addictive. The satisfying THUMP as the islands join together is a great touch, makes it so much fun!

I was confused about the enemies, and quit the game, and then I read the instructions and it was much better. Who would have guessed? Anyway, the chain pull is fun, and the connection snap of another tile really makes the game. Like seriously, I could play a game just with snapping those tiles together. Good job!

Cool game, I like the feel of grabbing islands with the chain. Although I didn't understand the lose condition, when the enemies touch me X nr of times? Some health system would be nice and some sound effect/visual when taking damage. Also some sound and effects/visuals when gaining points would be awesome too.

Very snappy and fun gameplay! Amazing work considering time limitations. My high score was 9, those little red guys really come in swarms :D

This game is really fun, I will definitely come back and play it again.
The controls feel great, especially the pulling in of the islands.

Having more than 1 life would be great though.

Really fun game! It'd be great to have a health system but the overall gameplay is very promising! I'm looking forward to trying it out again in the near future!

That was really fun! Got 15 points, although I'm not sure whether that's good or not hehe. Really cute graphics and swinging around the islands felt awesome! Nice one :D
