I like the art in the background.
Also, love the fact how the game is kind of a mix between a tactical-based and a visual novel. That's something I should consider for mine... hehehe. The writing of the story is a bit too long, not that I get bored but instead I'm amazed for how it was made within 48 hours. Good job!
Wow! Can't believe that this much can be done un 48hs. You guys killed it! I really liked how you managed to connect the narrative with some of the actual mechanics, you guys got really good narrative skills. It's such a shame that there's that much conversations. In my personal opinion they're too long and some of them could be better spaced along the game.
PD: The song that plays when characters are talking is my favourite.

Haha, yeah we originally planned for more fights along the dialogue but ran out of time putting everything together. There's even already a mechanic for the user to have a character that can create tethers herself (Arabella if you got that far in the story)! Once we upload the polished version, there'll be a better balance between the two!

That was A LOT OF WRITING for 48 hours, holy moly!
I feel the time constraint is what kills this one, the concept is really cool but without actual battles and systems* to make the best of it, it feels very incomplete. I hope you guys will develop this into something bigger, I think the tethering mechanic in is a really nice twist on the genre that brings out new interesting choices during fights!
Also props to whoever made the music, both tracks somehow didn’t get too tiring considering for how long they were being played!
(1) I probably missed something there, I fiddled with the ability button in multiple ways but didn’t find anything so after I while I just assumed it was non-functional
Yes, the time constraint definitely killed it :D
But we're already working on the current issues and will upload a new version with the missing battles some time after the voting period!
The ability heals (sadly the version where the button says so just barely didn't make it due to the deadline and build/upload speeds) and has a fairly short range. I'm also still convinced it's buggy, but we'll find out what's up while we polish this game some more.

I can't imagine that the game like this can made in 2 days
My brain is still mush from all the writing, but we were lucky enough to have 2 artists and several programmers as well as a dedicated hobby musician for the music. Worst part was putting all the separate bits and pieces together at the end. We almost missed the deadline :D
Sadly, this meant dropping the last 3 fights from the game and there are still some bugs, so we're looking forward to properly finishing it.

Thanks! We'll update the game to include the last few fights where you get to control Arabella and tether enemies (or allies if you feel like it) with her ability, so if you're interested in that, we'll add it some time after the voting period ends :)
An incredible amount of work to get done in 2 days! TRPGs are usually my favorite types of games so that's a bonus in my book. The story was interesting and there were a lot of character designs. I honestly didn't figure out how to use abilities but I managed to get to the end regardless. Kudos to you and I'm interested to see more!
As the person that did all that writing, I'm always so happy when someone gets all the way to the end, so thank you for that!
We put in better usability for the abilities *just* after the deadline, so that's sad, but I'm glad you could get through the fights without. In the earlier versions that was pretty much impossible thanks to some very overpowered enemies :D
We want to polish the game now that the jam is over and add in the fights with the fourth team member that will allow you to actively use the tether skill yourself, so if you're interested in giving that a try, we'll put it up eventually!
