Cute characters and title! I took 147 seconds and got a score of 15300. The game wasn't really challenging, in fact it was only a matter of waiting for the items to show up. Since it is designed as an endless runner, it could be improved by having the characters run automatically, thus adding an element of skill and tension.
Not sure if anyone else had this but all the textures were black for me so it made it hard to see when the lines of sight were broken. The cats looked cute and it was a fun concept though!
Best part was the great cutesy characters. The camera made it hard to not get stuck, and there's no sound to speak of. The rating system is funny as well.
Fun idea, and I liked the cat art/theme. I wish the camera would follow a little further behind, or zoom out as the characters separate. I got stuck a lot because the camera was too close and I couldn't see one of the two characters.
Also I think it could be fun if there were another way to lose besides breaking the link for 5 seconds. Maybe some kind of timer to complete the level? Or maybe a level designed in a way where you *have* to separate the characters in order to progress, so you end up doing it very quickly to avoid losing. It just felt a little too easy to keep them linked.
It's super ambitious to do 3d like this in 48 hours, so mad props for that! Well done!
I think it is a very cool idea and the characters are very cute. It is a little bit confusing what's the purpose of the cakes and other things. The independence of the character is a good idea, and can be expanded to have exclusive actions for each one, or puzzles/challenges that require collaboration. It has a lot of potential and it is a very good job for a 48hrs jam. Congrats.
Nice idea, but the camera was lagging behind a bit and made it difficult to see what was going on, still a good game! Not sure if you got any less score by running on the same side with both cats or not but I still got the fishes.
Nice Look. But I was a bit confused because I thought that for example the cake would be a good thing you can somewhat interact with (because cakes are tasty)
The camera wasn't good and really got in the way of my experience
I like the idea of this game, but I think it needs more urgency to its gameplay. You can just go at your own pace, which isn't as exciting. Also, the threat of the cats not seeing each other for too long isn't much of a threat because the cats can easily go through the whole game together. Also, the RNG of collecting items kind of ruins the scoring aspect because you might get tons of one kind of item while not getting a lot of the other item. I could see this as a The Adventures of Cookies & Cream-style co-op game, and with some clever design changes, it could be pretty fun.
Joined together was interesting but was avoided by just moving both cats at same time. Sound Effects would have been nice. I got a catholic wedding ending apparently.
Super cool game! The camera was a bit uncooperative a times, but certainly not unplayable. I had a good time, and I think this would be really fun to play with a friend!
Challenging to control but fun! nice job on the visual and style
