How does your game fit the theme?
Each shot blast the player backwards into or away from enemies. With only control over your movement, you will ping pong from enemy to enemy with out of control mayhem

I get a black screen after hitting play, any ideas??
The narrator at the start is cool. Nice art. I didn't understand what to do. A tutorial would be good.
That voices at the begining were amazing! Art is beautiful too.
Good job!
Thankyou!
Build 3 is broken for me, most of the enemies spawn outside of the map.
That seems to be the wrong build try RampageRecoil_GMTKGameJam2020_v5.rar
For me, the controls never felt like they were really working. The shotgun/axe sort of autotargets the enemies but I missed the agency and strategy of choosing which ones. I felt like I was just ping-ponging around without much more control over it than a pinball table. There doesn't seem to be much more to the game than that. Sorry, but it just felt unfair and unrewarding.
Music and sound were good though.
Thanks for the feed back. I'm sorry to hear the game felt unfair, but i'm glad to hear that it felt out of control, and you where being pinged ponged from enemy to enemy. The game-play is meant to be focused around meaningful positioning of the character contrasted with the crazy ping ponging of the recoil. However your feedback is very much appreciated!
A very nice piece! I love crashing into my doom or not crashing into my doom! Really makes for an out of control experience! The only thing I can recommend is to try and use your own assets next time! Besides that, well done!
