Very cool game. Simple idea, yet you can create a lot of puzzles from it
Fun platformer! The level design was nice and I slowly came to like the music more and more the longer I played. I also really liked the way the levels were all blended together.
It is clever and neat on how you incorporated the visibility aspects of the puzzles with the light's state. Nice.

great idea though i never knew when the light would turn on or off, it was a bit inconsistent and i couldn't get passed level one

The concept is really nice. The game visually explains itself pretty succinctly. The level design needs some work though. The getting stuck between pillars is happening every now and then. I guess drawing the camera out a bit might help...

I really hope you continue working on this after the jam ends because if you make more levels, I wanna play them!!! I don't know if it needs a tutorial (or at least a line in the description pointing out that some platforms only work in certain light settings) or if that realization is part of the fun. It was frustrating at first, but it should be. The graphics are good, and I love your implementation of the "Switch" theme. Very creative and enjoyable!
Side note though it is a pretty big frame which can get annoying on devices that don't have huge monitors, because then we have to keep scrolling to see the full game.
Really cool game mechanic! I really like having to map out my next move with each jump. if you made the title screen use it too it'd be a great introduction to the gameplay. Great work! Keep it up!

Hehe, I like myself a good lightswitch.
Lovely take on the theme, genius mechanic with the lights turning on/off when you jump, I have however found the light sometimes doesn't switch when you jump. Is that part of the challenge with the game or is it a problem on my end? I am using chrome so that could be the issue.
Either way, the game is great, I like it!
I haven't had that problem, so it might be on your end, or it might be a problem with the game that only shows up on some devices (so still a bug that the creator would have to fix). I'm using Brave, which is very similar to Chrome, but it uses a lot less memory so maybe that has something to do with it? Like, it's possible that the code listens for the event in a way that might miss it if a frame is skipped due to low memory. IMO, this seems like something the creator should look into, but it's also possible that it's just your computer. Is anyone else having this problem?
