Amazing and unique visuals, beautiful sounds and honestly quite challenging. Great job!

Beautiful game with a fitting soundtrack! I appreciate a map with no gps locator (not irony)!

Some of the later patterns were pretty difficult for me, I think if the dots and ASD buttons were the same size, it would make it easier to guess the rhythm? Was missing the "excellent" positioning typical for rhythm games. Had fun anyway! I actually wish I could spend much more time (than required to empty the meter) with each music totem to hear and enjoy the rhythm properly. The fact that opening the map fills up the meter is a nice touch, you monsters!!

Hahah, thanks a lot! No gps on the map was totally intentional, but I we're not aware of the map opening bar filling feature :-D Oh well. I agree the rythmic game needed a lot of tuning and we've already made a lot of changes since the jam submissions closed. I think we'll upload a newer, cooler, better and in general awesome version of the game sometime next week.

Thanks for the feedback! I also enjoyed your game a lot, it was cute. I'm not a fan of pixelart but for some reason I found it compelling in this case. Also the colour palette was really fitting.

yay, looking forward to it! Keep the bar filling feature! :D Happy you enjoyed the little thing we made <3 None of us are pixel artists, so hard to call it truly pixelart, maybe that has something to do with you liking it :D

Wow! Style of the game is just so beatiful. Also the mechanics are quite clever. Although with current difficuly I was looking too much for safety of another "music place" and exploring some places felt too risky. Otherwise exploring the mist is quite clever and satisfiying with all those juicy visuals. Nice one guys!

Thank you kind sir!

Art style is wonderful, I like exploration games, music games not so much, but this combination works perfectly. Really cool game, good job!

Developer

Thanks a lot! )) Yeah well it was a surprising combo for us as well. We enjoyed making it)

Very cool art and sound direction! Very impressive that it was made in just 48 hours. Fantastic work!

Took me a moment to figure out what I am supposed to do, but the art direction and sound design was awesome:) Great job! Have you composed all these musical pieces?

Also a little suggestion, it would be good for the cursor to turn white (instead of black) when over black clouds at the border of the screen:) or to be able to use a keyboard, since it is already used during the minigame anyway.

Developer

Thank you! We meant for many of the UI elements to be more legible, but never got to it. Do you have a suggestion as to how to to it? Shader?)

The author of the musical pieces is webik150.

Shaders sounds like the right way to do it, but since I am not very skilled with them (and also it is a jam piece, so there are really not many benefits to doing things the right way), I would probably just get the position of the mouse on the screen, raycast from there to find out if the cursor is over the cloud and if yes then swap the sprite for the white one. Seems like the easiest way to do it:)

Another way maybe would be to give it an outline/drop shadow with that second color that you are using, that way it would be never completely lost.

Musical pieces were by me, thanks! ^w^
I hope to finish them after the Jam ends. A lot of the checkpoints are missing music during the minigame because I didn't have time haha

Wow, I'm stunned! Probably the most beautiful and impressive Game Jam piece I've ever played. The sound design and visuals are amazing and it's fun to play! Thank you for this!
