Thanks for streaming our game, it's always nice and educational to see someone else's first time playthrough :)

Btw if you want to fullscreen you can download the standalone version

I really liked the visuals of this game! Audio and UI is pretty decent too. Gameplay is good but has still room for improvement. I don't really like rage games but this one is pretty interesting. Congrats guys!

If you have time, please play our game too! I'll also follow you guys to see your future games! Goodluck! :)

Fantastic little platformer! I really love how polished the controls are, which is really the most important part to nail down this type of game. The levels were short enough that having to restart them over and over to pass to the next one really felt rewarding. (perhaps a bit skewed towards the later levels -- maybe make those a bit shorter?), it reminded me of super meat boy.

Graphics were really great, love the polish -- the animations, particle effects etc. were really spot on. The music was brilliant as well, and really added to the mood of the game. Theme-wise I like how you built your entire mechanic of spawning from the dead to solve the puzzles. There's a lot of potential there for a bigger game (maybe the person you rise from the dead can have different attributes and do various things to solve different types of puzzles)

Really great entry, awesome job!

Hard to understand at first, but the mechanics were really good...art and the music were also really nice....and even the level design was really good, all those challenging levels kept me playing the game for a long time, Overall a really nice game, especially for a 10-day game jam this is really good

The is extremely addicting XD. I love the wonderful level design and the awesome mechanics for the game. I hope to see an update of the game :]

Not gonna lie, the background audio was BANGING (good kind). I loved this game, the mechanic is so simple, yet so addicting. I got some seriously clever platformer vibes and I loved it. I probably played your game the longest out of any jam game. One thing I recommend it having some "checkpoint" feature. I feel like some levels had me like "I have to do ALL those jumps again?!" Great submission!

Developer(+1)

thank you for playing and enjoying the game!! we generally tried to keep levels short enough to get by without checkpoints but got a little carried away with level design later on... so some of them break that rule in a way that ends up being tedious. definitely something to pay more attention to in the future!

Yeah, I feel that. I think the levels were great still. I made a puzzle platformer once in the past - I ended up implementing a "self-checkpoint" system that really helped players save the game wherever they wanted to. I can see that being useful in your game. GL in the future!

Great game,I love see the main character bouncing around. I can't found any problem except there a level when i drop on a very small empty area instead of red spike (which probably just I'm lucky)and difficulty are hard make me stuck on fifth mushroom(Probably because I bad in puzzle and there no instruction for most part).

But still a very great game

Developer(+1)

big thanks for playing! the mushrooms are meant to be optional goodies (that serve no purpose other than granting bragging rights) hidden in more difficult/obscure sections of the levels  but in hindsight we didn't really communicate that well enough in-game...

This game is really awesome! The aesthetics and the audio are great, and the controls are really smooth. Only two minor things that can be improved on (especially if you plan to expand upon this):

  1. Implement a way to spawn a new undead without having to press X twice. Maybe make that throw/shove action a different input.
  2. The above-mentioned throw/shove was not intuitive as being a thing that can propel the player - I thought it was an offensive attack.  Maybe have a section where a prompt is given to the player to show them how that action is used.

Great stuff overall! I found myself invested enough in the game to get frustrated at some point when I kept dying, so keep it up!
