Great job, I really enjoyed the game!

Working together with past versions of yourself seems like a familiar mechanic ;)

This is an awesome game with a really cool idea! It's super well polished, and the puzzles are quite challenging.

My main feedback here would be to add a "Restart" button - I think every puzzle game needs that - and simply adjusting the sorting issues with the sprites.

Awesome job!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

hello! My assumption was that people would just restart by starting a new loop twice to keep the ghost still, as a separate restart button seemed kind of redundant, but I understand how that might seem a bit unintuitive. I’m glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the feedback!

This game was well done and had great mechanics!

The artstyle was super good, especially loved the color palette used here.

Game design and mechanics wise too, this game just had a fitting and interesting mechanic, while also having great puzzles.

Overall, this game was awesome and pretty fun to play through.

This is a pretty good puzzle game. I like these puzzles where you can to coordinate with yourself to try to solve it. I did run into an issue though that you can't seem to pull the boxes, and that's troublesome when you are trying to push a box up when the bumper is facing down.

Developer

Yeah, we didn't implemented a pull character action. But maybe it will be the case soon, we're looking forward to update the game a bit after the evaluation time ends :) thank you for playing!

yeah, not being able to move springboards in the opposite direction of the spring was intentional, and was used in the design of a few puzzles to prevent cheese, but I do think it gets frustrating for the player, so if I were to seriously expand the game I might change that. I do think it’s natural for people to expect to be able to move the boxes anywhere provided there’s no barriers, so I don’t think that was the greatest design choice. However, another reason I decided on that was just because adding a grab button would be a good chunk of extra work to implement with the loop mechanic (considering pushing is just using colliders), which in a full game would be worth it but not so much in a game jam.  We’re working on a small update for the game, and depending on how things go, may add a grab function, probably based on if we can find a way to do it without sacrificing the levels that currently rely on it not being there.

Neat puzzle game! The mechanics were fun to play around with. I think I finished some of the puzzles in unintended ways though, because I didn’t need to use the time-loop mechanic at all lol. Sometimes it was a bit confusing to figure out what exactly would make a door open, whether you have to keep standing on the button, just step on it once, etc. Some more consistent feedback as to how those work might help a bit.

The art is really amazing, makes the game feel super polished - reminded me a bit of the old Nitrome puzzlers. I loved the colour scheme and the way the apparatus animations worked - especially the bouncy block where the player can fall into the void, that was really nicely done.

The music and sound were pretty much perfect too, they complimented the game quite well. the sound effects for each action helped a lot in making the whole game feel polished.

I’ve gotten till the room with 4 doors so far, haven’t been able to solve it yet. Might get back to it later if when I have the time.

hello! Yeah, sorry about the button thing, they were supposed to be consistent (they should deactivate when stepped off of) but I messed up the settings on one button in particular, so that’s just a genuine mistake, and I think makes it possible to solve without the time loop, yeah.  However, not using the time loop was intentional in several other places just cuz they were meant to be simple tutorial levels.  Thank you for the feedback!

I love the concept on this game. The music, the artwork and theme relevance is outstanding. Loop and Record mechanic fits perfectly with the puzzle concept. The UI is basic but gives that vibe while the artwork from Character creation up to the dungeon is a wow-factor, the color palette gives a chill vibes. Although there are some keypoints like the passing through some walls, the colliders not working and the Pause Menu is not accessible. Also I want to know the idea behind the name. Overall the game is well done! It just needs a few tweaks and adjustments, and it's all set to go. :)

Developer

Thank you for the awesome feedback XD.  The color palette is one of newest and favorite palette to work with :>.

Hi guys! I just want to say that I really liked the overall visuals of the game. One bugs that I found is the Pause Menu since I want to adjust the sound volume. The game freeze when I spam the Esc key since there is only a pink panel when you pressed it. There are some colliders that didn't work(can't say the level, you guys can put level numbers UI, just a recommendation ^_^). I really like the gameplay, since I am a programmer, recording  movements in Unity is one of the ideas that I want to learn. I appreciate if you can share it to me hehe. In conclusion, puzzle games is not really my thing but this is one of the few puzzle game that I played seriously.

Developer

Sure ahaha! Will give you some key points about it, just DM in Discord for further details :D

Finally got to try this awesome game. Had fun on the loop mechanic and was able to solve the puzzles :D This really used my brain somehow hahahaha. I initially thought that there's no music until I saw the description. The music fits the game which is really good. The character is so cute as well :D Another thing is that I love how the environment is designed.

One thing I think is that I keep trying to move using WASD since I don't read How To Play or the description until I read them hahaha.

Overall, the game is awesome :) Would love to see more progress on this one.

Glad you liked it! :D

Thanks for the compliments!!

This was such a great game. I absolutely love the loop mechanic. I think what was more impressive was the way you taught the mechanics and the level design. I noticed how you put the decal on the floor to show where the puzzles would lead. Great submission and great puzzles.

Thank you so much for the awesome feedback. I'm so happy you enjoyed the game :]

Thank you! It's good to hear that you recognized how the level design teaches the mechanics, as I've done a lot of research on the topic but didn't have much of a chance to apply it until now.

Tbh, it showed. I never felt lost and I never felt confused as to what to try next. Concise puzzles are really underrated. Hope you all work on this in the future.

First off, I am in LOVE with the chosen color palette. The hues of red and violet/purple are so nice and not so bright it hurts the eyes - great aesthetic! Second, the art style meshes so well together, it really gives a sense of unity and cohesion as a polished game (something really hard to achieve)! The animations are great, and the puzzles are absolutely wonderful. I don't see the time-lapse mechanic all too often, and in this game it's been formed well to make for some interesting gameplay! Overall, really solid work and I had to be pretty creative at times so I enjoyed the brain teaser! :3

That's a nice little game mechanic.  I also like the camera controls.  Music nice and chill.  Nice puzzles.  For some reason when i load the game the buttons aren't visible so i have to click around and hope for the best to get it started. >.<  Otherwise I detect some really solid game elements here.

Developer (1 edit)

Oh really :o sad to here this! Would love to get in touch with you to correct

this in the future :) Thanks for the evaluation anyway :D !

I feel like this is really good, but it's hard to enjoy due to the lack of instruction.

Developer (2 edits)

If you need help with the controls, the instructions are on the game page.
