Polished and theme related, nice job C:

It might have worked better with a moves limitation instead of time limitation, making puzzles more intriguing :P

I am looking into that outside the Jam as there was a lot of things i wanted to include in the and id like to implement them. Thank you for playing and giving me feedback.

Level three was really hard for me I couldn't complete it.

I am working on making the player movement easier. Don't give up I believe in you. I must admit the game levels are not balanced correctly I think level 3 is probably the hardest one on there, Thank you for playing it and the feedback.

The reason it felt frustrating to me is because there isn't much room for improving your time to clean the room besides trying to press the buttons faster or choosing which items to pick up first. Preivious levels felt like no challenge then I get to level 3 and every time I come close but no cigar.

Thanks and sorry if I sounded harsh. I didn't get to mention that the concept of cleaning up a dungeon after a player slaughtered your goblin friends is a funny way to spin it. I hope you take it and run with it. This could make a very great puzzle game.

I agree with you there is little room for improvement on the times it is something i want to address, I am considering making the movement more of a hold down to go that direction instead of the constant having to click to move a block. I will be changing the timing on this level i think its 45 seconds the others are 55 seconds to 60 seconds. My idea is that you would optimizing order of things you do it in. I think when I've played level 3 I've done it with 0.5 to 1 second less so it is a little tight to do it.

At first I thought that holding down option/more live action for the movement would solve the problem but there is another thing you could do. The problem is that the mechanics butt heads with eachother. The current movement is fine but it reflects something more turn based. It clashes with a time limit and will make it a hard thing to balance properly in the long run. My suggestion is either go with A) turn based movement with a certain limit of turns per level or B) live-action movement with a time limit. I hope this helps but its just a suggestion. It's your game.

Thanks again for the feedback Ill play about with both these said methods. Maybe id build both then you have two modes of plays for people preferences.

Short, simple, sweet game.  I really enjoyed it. Good job.

This is a really awesome game! I love the story and the design of the game. It has a simple design, and simple controls, but that doesn't mean it's not challenging! the time restraints may be too short, but that's something that can be fix. But I think it could be fine if not fixed. This game is cool, and well made. Good Job!

Thank you very much. I am truly appreciative that you have played it and left me some feedback. I do want to do more work on this after the Jam is concluded because i had a fair amount of content I want to add to it including some audio, a longer story more parts to the cleaning.

Same, me and my friend are gonna keep working on our game as well, gonna make it into a full game!

I actually really enjoyed this game.  It had consist gameplay, multiple stages which increased in difficulty.  I finished the boss room with 3 seconds remaining, phew.  All in all, one of the most complete games I've tried thus far.  The balance of time remaining felt a little skewed at times, and I personally had to two hand it, one on the spacebar, and the other on wasd, as for some reason, one handing it was slowing me down too much; but yeah, a good game.

Yeah I had a feeling that I had not balanced the game time to pieces left to clean. Had i have had more time on it id have had injured enemies that would animate and chase you until you lured them into a trap. I will continue working on this after the Jam has concluded because i think there is so much more i can do with it. Thank you so much for taking your time and playing it and leaving me feedback.

I found this little QOL gameplay tip that helped me : I can move with both WASD and Arrow Keys, so I could just press Left + A together if I wanted to go left, and this would speed things up ^^

I couldn't clean the hands on Stage 2, even if I had a lot of water left, so I had to close the game early, but this seems like a nice entry! Good job on making this

Developer (1 edit)

I included the arrow keys and WASD to make it easier for Left handed and right handed players.

You don't need water for the hands sorry i might have not explained it correctly you put the hands in the brown bins with the gold rim by standing over it and pressing space to drop it. Water is just for the blood stains. Thank you for so much for taking your time to play my game and leaving me feedback.

Really liked the theme of cleaning the dungeon, a nice spin (: Having to go back and collect water was a cool mechanic. I did find it rather click intensive for my wrist when I was trying to spam the arrows to move around to get things done before the time ran out. Maybe moving the character when holding a key rather than only on pressing it would help. Thanks!

I agree with you I am going to work on this. I didn't have too much time to work on it because I had overlapping Jams.
