Talking points of your game
Cursor Instinct is a size-based, rage, highscore game. It was developed for the GDL July 2021 Jam and i had a lot of fun with it!

I had the idea while thinking about the Jam theme at 2 AM. I was looking at my cursor and the idea came to me.

A virus just hit your computer and stole your Data! Quick you need to get it back!

You are a playing as your mouse cursor and have to dodge the obstacles coming at you while collecting your lost data. The bigger you are while collecting your data the more points you get.

The game will become faster and faster while throwing more and more obstacles at you.

Have fun and feel free to tell me your Highscore!

Clever little game. I like the ballance between risking being big and getting more points or being small and doging easier

Really cool idea, I love the style, Having everything match the windows style even with the CMD console is really cool.

Really good concept, could use a bit more feedback to damage / collection (sfx maybe), but other than that really nicely done.

Edit: I adore the file names and notepad contents

Thanks for the Feedback! You are 100% right with the sfx. I wanted to play the windows error sound when hitting something but was a bit scared because of volume. But i will definitly patch it after the Jam!

Interesting concept and nice execution. I wonder if you used such an old operational system while you were looking at your cursor)

Haha ofcause not, the idea was that the windows theme switches every minitue, so you start at 95 and as the game gets harder the system becames newer and newer. From 95 to w10 but i absolutly miscalculated the time and therefore i only managed one windows and sticked to it. Thanks for the review :)
