Super laggy for me

Developer

that is unfortunate to hear. There are some larger assets in the game and I think because it's web-based they get in the way of it being a smooth experience for everyone. Thanks for letting me know though. It's something I need to look at in the future with Construct 3.

A beautiful tribute to GDKO. I think you captured what we all felt going through it, and ended with a lovely message. I'm glad to see you in the final round. Your entries have been a blast to play.

For the criteria of making a previous game better, you  absolutely smashed the competition! As for the game itself, that story got to me. In the beginning I was really questioning the path you were taking for a final game. But it grew on me so much that I had to take a minute after finishing - before I voted. Truly a great job!

Thanks for your message! I do think I could have structured the beginning a little differently, I made the whole game in a linear fashion so when I got to the hard-hitting emotional end sequence I did realise the beginning is a little "undercooked" in comparison. But overall I am really happy with the message of the game, and happy to hear that it resonated with you!

I loved this so much! The one thing I would suggest is after playing with the option sliders on the next page reset them again. I accidentally ended up having to spend 10 minutes on the leaper remake part because I set the wind speed to minimum :P Still loved it and am happy that I spent the time to get through to the end.

woah, i never encountered that bug! I felt sure I reset all the variables..... but thanks for the heads up. I hope you still found the music loop enjoyable after so long.....

I was close to giving up 😅️ - part of me hoped that the story might continue automatically if I spent more than 5 minutes failing to get into all 3 baskets. But luckily I did manage in the end.

And the music was fantastic ;)

I didn't expect to be taken on such an emotional journey! Bravo!!! You really brought together everything. It's important to remind yourself that you can 'just be' and that THAT is enough. Thank you for telling this story :)

Thanks for playing, and thanks for this wonderful message.
