The graphics are really cute! My only criticism of them is that it is very hard to distinguish the background from the foreground.

I tried on several browsers, but still ran into the strange tractor beam bug. This is mostly speculation on my part, but it seems as if the tractor beam strength is tied to framerate, as if there was a discrepancy between a Time-based feature (as in, something that uses TimeDelta, like timers) and a Frame-based feature. For example, if the tractor beam was Frame-based, but physics gravity was Time-based, the gravity would apply faster than the tractor beam at lower framerates. Do you think this could be the case?

Great work!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I will work on trying  to make things stand out more from the background! And really nice points on the tractor beam. I will have a look into that and see if I can get things working smoother. Thanks a lot for the help and your feedback.

I had such a great time playing your game! I loved all the graphics and switching between the views. Really great puzzles and really fun! Loved the music too! Really great work!

Lovely little game.
Though the text roll out was so slow and not able to skip was a bit of a downer.

But graphics were great, story was nice and on/off was nicely included.

Well done <3

Developer(+1)

Thanks very much for that! I will definitely speed up the text and see if I can implement a skip button too. Thanks a lot for for the input and the feedback!

Your game Logica is really great! I loved the graphics and everything worked so well! The music is great too! Amazing work!

Really nice graphics, but the controls were too stresful. When you move, the character starts slowly moving and if you collide with a wall you lose all the speed. The music was ok but the thong that sounds when you press space hurted me(I'm exaggerating ;)  ).Btw, good job! I made sure to rate you

PS: Could you please play my game and provide some feedback? Thanks

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I will work on getting things smoother and see if I can get the controls working better too. Thanks a lot for the comment!

Your game is so much fun! I've had a really great time playing it! I really love the music and rain sounds too! Very awesome! Great work!

Graphics for this game is really amazing! I also love the idea about how you can pick up objects and restore them. However, the tractor beam didn't seem to be working as it is intended in the current version of the game, and the game seemed to be lagging at times (or it's just my PC acting up). If you are able to polish this game up in the future, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful game for everyone to play.

Thank you so much for the feedback and comment! I'm sorry about the tractor beam. I will look into it and see if I can get it working smooth. Your game Escape From Alteris is great!! It had loads of atmosphere and great lighting! The music was really great too. I really enjoyed it! Nice work!

Great title, gorgeous music, smooth movement, and most amazing art of the jam that I've seen so far, beautiful! I need to spend more time playing it, but I am super impressed with what you were able to pull off in GDevelop. Thank you for sharing your work, well done!

And if you get a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would love any feedback, thanks!

Developer

Thank you so much for that! Really glad you enjoyed it!

Foxy Boom Boxy is such a great game! Fantastic graphics and the audio is awesome! The voice acting and the music are really great! Along with the story too! I really had such a great time playing it and really enjoyed the ending music too! Amazing work!

I'm gonna be honest, I'm tired to see games where "on/off" is just using and not using a mechanic, and the game is possible to finish with the machanic being "ON" all the time. There is no back and forth to be frank.

If you want help with the game itself, dm me(theultra#0998) on discord at morning. I'm morbidly curious with the source code more than anything.

Developer

Hey, thanks very much for the feedback on the game!

There is the on/off of the tractor beam, but I maybe should of made that more clear in the controls saying - Switch ON/OFF Tractor beam. But I do see what you mean. Perhaps I could make more ON/OFF  switches that turn different machines on and off for different puzzles rather than just ON switches. Thanks a lot, I appreciate the feedback and also the offer for help.

I really enjoyed your game! Really fun to play and great with the theme! Nice work!

You killed us all with the graphics, the only thing to object to about your game is what they mentioned in other comments, it is very difficult to be able to move everything to make it work.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for the feedback! I will get to work on trying to get things working better after the jam has finished. I have also noticed the tractor beam  seems to have trouble picking up objects on certain web browsers for some reason, so I will see if I can figure that out too. Thanks again for your feedback! I really enjoyed your game! The art style is really awesome too! Great work!

I really wish the tractor beam was so finicky lol. Was an effort to move stuff around (when I feel like the first level or two should be super easy for the player). Very unique take on the theme and loved the artwork. Good work.

Developer

Thanks a lot for your feedback and comment! It's much appreciated! I will have a play around with the game after the jam has finished and see if I can get things to work better and get a  better balance. I also realized that on some web browsers the tractor beam  seems to have trouble picking up objects, so I will see if I can sort that too. Thanks a lot! Your game is really awesome! I had a lot of fun using all the  extensions to play through the game! Really awesome concept! Great work!

Offering feedback on your game, I'm quite taken with the main menu and the cinematic elements. Everything appears stunning. However, I'd recommend contemplating the addition of a skip button for those who might prefer to bypass certain sections. Wishing you the best of luck as you continue your development journey!
