Pretty funny. The perks mechanic is very cool, like .io apps ^^ Gj
Pretty fun!
At first it just looked like a plain top-down shooter but all of the different upgrades that you end up getting make the game a little bit more complex. I also love the balls of not stopping the game to let the player upgrade, it's kinda enjoyable that you don't have much time to think and you just have to go with whatever sounds better asap. My evil designer brain wants to go even further, I think the player should lose an upgrade if they're too slow (but as I said it's extremely evil lol)
I liked it, fun stuff. Keep it up.
I would say It was unfortunate that the game didn't provide time to upgrade without being shot at, but then I remembered the theme of this jam XD
Here's what I loved :
The upgrade variety, the little explosion canisters, and the simple style of the game (very well executed).
Here's what I would change :
I think the AI is a bit poor. Since they just move towards the player, you can simply drive in circles continually to avoid conflict. To change this, I would suggest adding obstacles to hide behind, as well as a simple pathfinding script for the enemies.

I had a blast playing this, even if the visuals aren't the most impressive thing in the world.
Like the mechanics are great as they are, which is by far the most important thing. Adding sound effects for shooting and making the UI look nicer would probably be better (and I guess that's sorta the point of the jam?) but I love it nonetheless, great job man!
