Gameplay may not be complete, but i like the aesthetics in this prototype! It could be something really nice when finished. Looking forward to that!
I already really like the movement of the dice throw, looking forward to seeing more.
Interesting concept. I am curious what the final game will look like!
I didn't really understood the results of the dice rolls nor how the gameboard works, looks like there is tiles with special effects and symbols, but they don't seem to do anything.
The dice roll feels great to watch but it doesn't match the Game Boy aesthetic.
Good start! The dice mechanic seems interesting. Will the game concept be comparable to something, or is it totally original? Keep going with this!
The only game I can compare it to might be Inscryption, at least in the theme and some mechanics. It will follow the pattern of: play the board game against a rival, buy upgrades, move in the map and advance the story.
It looks like a decent start to something more, but it's hard to tell exactly what's going on without any description on the game page or in the app itself about what I'm supposed to want or do. The GB vibe is definitely there between the controls and sound effects.
The dice rolling mechanic looks pretty cool, but it's a little confusing what the results of the rolls are: I don't know how to interpret the symbols on the dice themselves and the UI doesn't seem to have anything that connects with those results because I didn't often see it change after completing a roll.
To be fair there is not much going on right now :D It’s a prototype I made in a couple of days so it’s pretty much in the making.
The dice not being clear is an issue I’m thinking how to solve. Right now they have the white points indicating +1 when it’s upwards, but I’ll have to design a better UI for them.
Yeah, having other UI elements message the meaning of the dice once they're rolled will go a long way to better convey the roll results. Good luck with the progress.
