Very fun idea! I loved playing Rexy! The movement controls reminded me of Super Mario Bros. NES, so I liked the gameplay. I was hyped to see the "Boss Fight Incoming!" but the game restarted... I hope you'll continue the development!

When a box choice appears, I can't make a choice so I was stuck. (nvm, I needed to press Start, not A!)

I got into Dracula's castle with 58 kills, but ended up dying and I ragequitted because it was too frustating to restart from scratch.

To talk about something else, the graphics are really good, I like the color palette. The gameplay reminded me of Link's Awakening, it was very fun, but sometimes I didn't know if I touched the enemy or not when attacking it.

I was stuck on the title screen with a black screen, but it was resolved when I refreshed the page.

I couldn't understand what to do with the umbrella, I tried to hold and spam DOWN , but it didn't work.

I played using Firefox on PC with Keyboard

Yeah I understand for the sprite limits haha, we had the same problems

It gave me chills! Using the mirror to switch between two worlds was cool.

Visually, the mirror crack was a little disturbing and colors were a bit too saturated imo

I didn't really understood the results of the dice rolls nor how the gameboard works, looks like there is tiles with special effects and symbols, but they don't seem to do anything.

The dice roll feels great to watch but it doesn't match the Game Boy aesthetic.

Nice concept, blackjack & 13 & black cats ! But I can't say that much for the controls, it is very frustrating to control a mouse cursor for such a simple game.  The game could benefit from having the total score shown and having a retry button so that we do not constantly go back to the title screen.

Happy that you noticed the details for the monsters! Thank you for playing!

Fishing in this game was really relaxing. I finished the game with REALLY bad luck! Every 20 tries, I had a 60% chance of catching the fish, but it never took the bait... Luckily there are alternate endings that have a happy ending. I had a lot of fun buying all the items in the shop and talking to the NPCs.

It's fixed, thanks for noticing!

oooh! i'll try it, thanks!

Really cool conecpt! Hard to imagine it was made with Construct3, how the photo mecanic actually works??? (it is a mask?)

haha I actually made the screamer with Jeff the Killer as a reference

The first game over screen is really creepy, nice artstyle

I like the NES aesthetics, fun gameplay! It reminded me of Shovel Knight's stage : The Lich Yard.

I appreciated how good are the 3C, the player can do a little jump when J is pressed not so long, and the player can do a high jump when J is pressed long. I like how the camera moves behind the player when he faces and walk toward a direction. The animations had great expressions. The dash and the double jump are good mechanics but the level design do not serve them well... Nonetheless it was overall a fun game, I hope you will polish it!

The story is fun and Rick is really really REALLY CUTE! I'm happy for him

Yes! All of the visual assets were made during the jam!

I didn't understand how I could reverse the cards because neither the game nor the description teach the player how to do it. Good presentation though.

Looking and sounding great (but not the green squares battle transition), but the timer is very short so I had a very bad experience.

I like the idea that you're the system for the Hero party, but also for the enemy group.  But I first didn't understood that I was also doing calculations for the enemy group, maybe it would have been better if the two sides exchange their position with a flipping animation to show that now the system is calculating for the enemy group (and moreover, enemy stats shift to the left, so it would make sense that their position also go to the left)

The idea of playing the two roles was fun, I understand that you need to be discreet to spray the walls, but since when it is okay for a cleaner to beat up people?

I could continue to paint the walls from the starting point after the policemen found me by holding space during my 'arrest' releasing it, and reholding space.

Sadly, for one time, I couldn't play when I reversed to the cleaning job as the enemy knockbacked me outside the level, letting me falling endlessly. It is normal that the game is ending on a blue screen ?

Thanks for your review!

Yeah, maybe by creating a FEVER bar, you could spam drag&drop whichever Item you want (as long it's not the same) and gain lots of levels (ergo increase the Score), but it won't let the time limit reduce
