Very surreal. Definitely a different direction than most people took for the secondary theme.

Developer

Yeah, surreal was definitely the angle on this one. I wanted it to just be lots and lots of ways to subtly alter things from the norm each time, and to have the lack of normality be where the unnerving (spooky) vibes came from.

If there was more time I had a lot of other plans for ways to mess with it.

Thanks for playing/commenting!

What an eerie and unique little romp. I was mad confused for most of it, but I felt compelled to keep playing!

Very spooky, I would have loved some dialogue in this I think this could be expanded on very creatively! I also really liked the progressive background track! One minor little thing not sure if it was just on my end but I thought the game was bugged in the beginning because I couldn't see that character!

That definitely wasn't just you. I got a message in the mod channel telling me my game broke before the first screen loaded, haha!

Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad you liked it.

Cool!  Reminds me of Yume Nikki

Developer

I had to look up pictures of Yume Nikki, and from what I've seen, I think I understand exactly what you mean. Thanks for commenting.

You really nailed that GameBoy feel! The graphics, music, and player movement really feel right at home on a GameBoy. Well done.

Thank you, that's a very nice comment. I'm glad the feeling came through - the feel of it was a focus of mine.
