Nice platformer. Controls feel a bit rough, but the jumping boot jumped is great.

Cool graphics and music. Very nice both!

Solid platformer! Thank you for the generous checkpoints, though I would respawn enemies after a checkpoint. Nice work!

Nice job for a first jam, the gameplay is pretty good all things considered and having checkpoints was a good call that a lot of people miss. Great idea for the concept too, its quite different from the rest.

Nice little game. Controls could be a bit more snappy and faster but overall it's a fun quick platformer. And definitely one of the most unusual art styles/settings I've seen so far in this game jam :)

Congrats on your first jam entry! Hope that you learned a lot. I don't have much to add from what has been said already. but I'd recommend scaling up the resolution twice as much as you have here. It's an easy way to make the game easier to play and look better.

Effective platformer with decent controls and some fun surprises. I loved the Goomba's shoe! :)

The graphics are a little rough. One of the hues (the dark green) seemed underused, and I couldn't tell what all the objects were. Also, the vertically moving objects seemed to travel too fast, although of course the player can figure out the timing through trial and error.

Lastly, note that enemies do not respawn after you die, so you can cheese the difficulty a bit by taking enemies with you.

Game is a bit short, but aside from that it has couple of original concept's that sets it aside from other platformers, overall this game is a solid 7/10, if you made more levels and more different levels this could easily be rated very high on the list.
