We used some of particle effects and soundfx from a GameDev.tv Godot lesson. We used some AI images puting our own assets into it. Everything else we made outselves!

Great job! The ship's mechanics are solid. It took me a bit to get used to the controls, but I really enjoyed it!

Thanks Goutamraj! It is weird getting used to - it was also tricky working out the balance to introducing level mechanics with out just explaining them! Glad you played it and thanks for the feedback!

Great game, the physics controls were really fun! Took me a bit to realize I could zoom out on the first level with the planets :P The music was great, always down for some chill space rock!

Developer

Cheers Logan! It was awkward huh! I was trying to slowly implement mechanics without trying to explain it - but if you didn't have a mouse - it would have ended badly! Glad you worked it out - if I had more time, I would certainly work on tutorials/explanations - thanks for playing!

Yeah I get that, time is always the biggest issue for these game jams!

Nice, I played it! But the level shown in the second screenshot didn’t work the same way for me, the camera didn’t follow like that. Anyway, I played the other levels, and I like how you changed things to make your own version. GG 🔥

Thanks Miusoft, as a new game developer - the camera was certainly a tricky thing to work out! Thanks for pushing through :D

Great job adding your own mechanics to this. When I heard that landing sound it took me back to when I started learning Unity. Great job!

Developer

Thanks Tyler! I have noticed the audio when playing other peoples rocket games too - GameDev must have used the same Audio from the Unity tutorials for the Godot tutorials :D  Thanks for your time!

Good job. You did very well with the movement of the ship and the landing mechanics. Excellent.

You should more levels with objects moving.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I agree with you, I need more levels :D thanks for playing it.
