A simple, enjoyable game. I like the resource gathering and upgrade system. It’s a pity there’s only one type of enemy (in different sizes) and just one level — some more variety would’ve really added to the experience.

It has lots o potential, keep the good work!

Thanks for the kind words!

The concept was really good, I can say that I liked the game overall.

Developer

Thank you!

I think the concept has potential but it needs a little polish. I tried dashing diagonally, but it rarely worked. Should it or can I only dash in straight lines?

Developer

Thank you, and the dash is supposed to allow you to dash diagonally, but the movement system was being a bit finicky. It's supposed to move in the direction of the slightly transparent triangle, which is based off of where the player is currently moving, or if the player is stopped, their last moved direction.

Cool concept I think and maybe worth exploring further, but kinda confusing right now. I couldn't tell why planets would sometimes break and other times not, and same with them hitting me, sometimes hurt and other times not. An annoying bug is after upgrading, if you hit space right away to dash the upgrade menu opens again, unless you click outside it (I think because the button gets focused). Despite that though, it's a nice little game and congrats on submitting! :)

Developer

Thank you! If it helps, the player will only take damage when they hit an enemy and aren't using the dash/attack. Enemies have a set amount of health, and until you upgrade the damage a few times, it will take a few hits to destroy the enemies. Thanks for pointing out the issue with the button, I've since (hopefully) figured out how to fix it

Unfortunately the game broke and I was stuck watching rocks float.
