Love the intro!  The shooting mechanic was challenging due to the timing and the arc.  One thing I noticed was that I was taken to the next level before actually reaching the door (on the first level especially, less so on the second level).

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! The intro was definitely my favorite part of the creative process.

Great platformer, music worked really well with the game style and play. Would have preferred to have the jump button as space, maybe that's just me. Loved how you incorporated the control tutorial into the game itself. Really well done and great game.

Developer(+2)

thank you so much! I’m glad you liked the music, this was a super fun game to compose for

Pretty cute! I love the art style. Made it as far as I could, which was at least past the two-heath-bar bird boss (spoilers). Only potential issues I saw were 1) I'm playing on a smaller laptop and I couldn't change the resolution (or interestingly, even zoom out), so I couldn't see my health. Not a big deal though. 2) Maybe I'm just not used to platformers on the PC, but W being jump kinda threw me off a bit. I think I would have rather had jump be a button controlled by the right hand. Other than that, keep it up!

Thanks for playing!

The art was great and killing the enemies feels satisfying. I really liked the music and I didnt really have any issues while playing - besides the first boss (the bird) - where I didnt quite understand what I was supposed to do. But great job nonetheless! :D

Tysm! I loved writing the music for this game.

Loved the art and platforming. Reminded me of the good parts of mega man.

Thanks, I have a feeling I'll hate spiders even more after playing yours (except jumping spiders, they get a pass).

Developer(+2)

Thanks for playing! Mosquitos should be eradicated imo.

Great job! This was a super fun and creative game to play. I loved the innovative concept, it was satisfying to see the bully get a taste of his own medicine by being shrunk and tormented by tiny creatures (and eventually facing off against the towering nerd!). The progression of enemies was clever and entertaining. The art was absolutely amazing! My only suggestion would be to make the music a bit more catchy to match the energy of the gameplay,  but overall, it was a really fun and imaginative experience. Well done!

Problem with the music is that it constantly plays from the beginning when I switch between menus and the game state as well.

Anyways onto the positives, I love the fact that there are around 5-6 platform levels and each of them have a unique challenge and increases once reaching the later levels. Killing the enemies by jumping on top of them was satisfying. I feel like the boss fights (except for the Big Nerd boss) definitely could use some work since it was almost too easy to kill them.

The intro cutscene was really well-written and well-executed that it fit with the theme of the jam nicely. This game was grueling in my opinion due to the amount of bugs following me when they see me but the difficulty was fair and rewarding for me. Nice game overall.
