Wow you really stuck the landing on the retro aesthetics of the game! I was instantly teleported back to some early survival horror games I enjoyed as a young lad. The voice acting added to the frenetic atmosphere and made me connect to my fellow NPC survivors and want to defend them.

Excellent work!

Good game, love the style, you really nailed the atmosphere. I feel like there's so much more you can add to it in the future to make it bigger and better. But for a 10 day game jam I think you've made something pretty cool. Congrats on getting something finished and playable!

The game has a classic PS1 retro feel, and the sound effects immersed me in the action. The controls need some work, but it's a good starting point. The game was fun. Nice job! Thank you.

Really great style! You totally nailed that PS1 retro feel and I loved it. Lots of great movie references with the voice lines which I enjoyed as well!

I did run in to one small issue which was at the end of a run I wasn't able to jump right in with the play button again, I had to reload my browser window each time. Not sure if that was just a problem on my end though, I only mention it so that you can keep an eye out for it.

Awesome job!!!

Loved the style and Music. Reminds me of Resident Evil 1

Lol I really liked the voice acting in the game. I also really liked the style of it. I wasn't a big fan of the tank controls but I thought this was a cool project :)

well made! sprinting mechanics health bar, crosshair, would make the game even  more fun!

Developer

Thanks! Definitely going to add more game features like those in the future

I liked the game, it is a great idea to make a game with ps1 games style, the assets you used are so compatible and I love the lighting as well. keep going!!

Thanks! I appreciate the play man!

You know what? This style of game is a lot to pull off in a short period of time. I really liked the dark PS1/scanline aesthetic, and the narrow beam of your flashlight as it illuminated the ever-increasing zombie hordes that seemed to emerge from the darkness as if from nowhere. Honestly, if you'd added some nice gunshot and meaty impact SFX, I think I would have enjoyed just popping zombies all day.

Haha thanks for the play! Me and a buddy of mine set aside a lot of time to attempt to get the atmosphere just right. Glad you enjoyed it!

I'd say you nailed the atmosphere for sure!
