Nice game! the controls are responsive and the mechanics are easy to understand, congratulations!
keep it up!
Thank you.
Some interesting ideas here. It felt like auto aim wasn't working quite right. After a certain point I thought I'd try and get myself killed but that just wasn't happening.
Someone tried to cash in some fake Xu credits earlier today, but you get 5i of them on principle. (I have strong opinions on guns and property rights)
I remember you brainstorming this on Discord at the beginning of the jam! Glad I got to play it. Fun take on a bullet hell, I loved the 4th of July theme and the artwork. Definitely needed more tactile feedback with the guns firing, getting hurt, and enemy deaths. It was hard to even know I was shooting sometimes. Plenty of time to tweak before the actual 4th of July (Happy Burthday, 'Murica!) :)
Thank you. I'm actually finally making the switch to UE5 and making use of the courses I already have. I do love this game idea though and will either keep building it in Unity in my free time or remake it in Unreal.
I wish there's was something to spend the collectibles on! Still good job, this game genre is so cool. The enemies may have been way to quick, and bullets as well maybe, there wasn't much feedback in general. But cool sfx and art looked simple but good as well!
Nice entry!
Haha really accurate idea! Great Job!
Aiming could have been better, other than that really enjoyed the game. Cheers ;)
Well done on your submission. The pixel art and color scheme is really awesome! I think the character movement feels good, but it is a bit hard to track the bullets as they travel quite fast. Offering the player some sort of shield mode or way to avoid getting shot would increase the gameplay time. Good job!
Thank you. I intended to make a leveling system with stat boost but ran out of time before I could implement it. If I hadn't been babysitting the last day, I probably would've tweaked the difficulty.
Cool aesthetics and audio/sound. Enemy sprites are stuttering for me and I get killed really fast so can't really comment much on the gameplay.
Thank you. I'll tweak damage and health stats when the judging ends. I was planning to add a level up stat system but ran out of time.
Didn't really get the objective of the game or how to play it, though i really liked the art and music. But I did not end up beating the game. Still, it was a neat concept, good job.
There's a controls section in the settings menu but, I'll add them to the description. I wanted to add a basic leveling system but ran out of time so, the only goal is to survive.
