The 45 degree pause actually sounds like a good idea, may look into that if I decide to expand the project. Thanks!

I liked the story behind the game, as well as the old-timey aesthetic. The controls felt a little unpredictable, but it wasnt too bad since bullets were able to fly through walls. I like the idea of health being "love" instead. I enjoyed it, even if I didnt get too far.

I like the combat system, especially the spin dash mechanic. The art is great and the story is the cherry on top. My only criticism is I wish I had more time to pick which item I want to take before I go to the next floor. Still, I liked playing it.

This was a cool one. I really liked the feel of sending other tops into the abyss by just switching up my momentum with a dash and boost. It was really fun.

I liked the retro style of the game and the simple controls. Though, I wish there was a warning to tell me where the next wave of enemies will spawn so I dont take damage without any way to prevent it. Still, I liked exploring the dungeon to try and get more boomerangs to fight with. This was a nice game.

An impressive game for one week. I liked the weapon variety and the cool room loading effect. Though, I think there should be more opportunities to heal up. The background effects were a nice touch and I liked the chromatic aesthetic. Good job.

I love how silly this serious game is. The sound the frog makes when it hits something adds to the charm. The graphics are great and the controls are plain and simple. If this was a mobile game, I could see myself playing it for a good while. I'd love to see where it goes if you continue development.

While the boss was a nice challenge for the game loop, it could have been fun to control when he shoots the ink to freeze you so you can strategically drop, as if hes helping you complete your work.

This was a fun entry.

This may have taught me more chemistry than school did. The gameloop is really interesting, and I could imagine surviving hours if I practiced hard enough. The camera was a little janky though. I liked the attract and repel mechanics. I found it pretty cool that some elements get formed without your input. Overall a great jam game, especially for a week.

The concept was really funny. I really liked the message this game had and the interpretation of the theme. Bet a lot of people would appreciate it

This was pretty fun. The artstyle is cute and the music plus sound effects compliment the experience. The powerups give some nice variety to the gameloop too. Great job.

I liked the simplicity of the game. The swinging feels really intuitive. The enemy design also compliments the gameplay well.

Took me a bit to get used to the controls (which I appreciate being simple), but once I did the game was really fun to play. The artstyle was also great for a game with a lot happening on the screen.

I kept needing to adapt to each round, so the gameplay never got stale. The builds you can make feel  almost endless. I got to wave 9 before dying. I was pleasantly surprised to see I got to keep some weapons I unlocked.

This genuinely might be one of my favourite jam games ever. Great job for something made in a week.

The controls on the phone were quite hard to figure out, especially without a cursor to tell where im clicking. It also made it pretty hard to turn the dial. I really liked the artstyle and aesthetics of the game though.

Very cool concept for the game. Besides one small issue of the customers positions being slightly offset, it was fun to try and serve them all quickly.

The reroll mechanic is pretty cool. I also love the different bullet types you can roll for.

This was fun to play. Though, the controls were a bit tricky to figure out. I liked the gameplay a lot though.

Really fun game. Loved the short story and the gameplay.

Really fun game and story. This is impressive for a week. I really liked the platforming segments.

This was a great game. I love how you interpreted the theme as something so unique. I bet a lot of people can relate to what its saying. Also, the art fits perfectly into the type of game this is.

I'm glad you liked it. That issue you had was going out of the map due to your velocity. I thought I fixed it but turns out it can still occur. Anyways, hope you enjoyed!

Oh man, thought I fixed that. Hope you at least had fun playing, lol

Pretty fun game, liked the battle system. Though after I killed all the enemies the game kept going even though I ended my turn. Other than that its pretty good.

Didn't really get the objective of the game or how to play it, though i really liked the art and music. But I did not end up beating the game. Still, it was a neat concept, good job.

This was pretty fun to play. I liked that the player would break apart after getting hit. The difficulty seemed to spike out of nowhere as I got to 40 though, Other than that, I enjoyed playing it, good job!

Pretty fun game to play. Graphics looked nice and simplistic. The game was a little hard for me even though I selected the easy difficulty. Besides that, the game is quite good.

I loved the gameplay as well as the graphics. The music went well with the environment. The hitboxes were a little strange as sometimes my attacks would hit and sometimes they wouldn't. Found it a little weird that I could skip each level before killing all the enemies. Besides those issues, this is great for a game made in 7 days.

Thanks I made the prices a bit high so players needed to play a bit to get maxed stats.

(1 edit)

This game was pretty cool. I liked the charge mechanic for the player and really enjoyed the art and visuals. Some sound effects would have made it great but otherwise the game was fun to play. Also, when I died, I couldn't move or do anything.

Thanks, definitely could have made the bubbles look less like an obstacle. Didn't intend for the music to be eerie but I am glad it suited the game!

This game was great! I loved that the cycle zoomed between the pod and the anchors so smoothly. It was a little hard to kill the enemies but besides that everything about this game is amazing for a 7 day time period. Definitely meets the theme of the jam.

This game was pretty interesting to play. I really liked the breathing sound effect in the background. The game fits the theme well since you find more dangerous creatures the deeper you go. It got a little boring when you kill all the enemies and have to wait for the diver to go deeper. Overall, this game is pretty good!

This game was pretty fun to play! Though I don't really understand how this fits in with the theme. I really liked the music for each level and the art used. There were a few technical issues but I enjoyed it a lot!

Thanks for the feedback, I only realized that the game was difficult after submitting it. Ill add more feedback and improve visuals in the future.

This game looks and feels good! I like the color palette you chose and the graphics were amazing for something created in only 3 days! Though one slight issue in the game is that the difficulty ramps up a little too much after some time. Otherwise, its a great game overall!

Thanks for the feedback! I did notice after submission that the game was a bit hard so ill try fixing that in the future. Also good to know that the Linux build works!

Thank you! I plan to add more enemies and make the map smaller as well as fix a few bugs once the submission period is over. I also plan to lower the minimum mana and the regen time.

Seemed like a great game! The game seemed like a fresh pace from others but you should add a health bar and also reduce the lag caused by graphics.

The game seemed great but I could not get past the first level by going through the door so I could not do much.

Really great game! Loved playing it!

Seems like a great game! Loved the audio, design and concept!
