How does your game fit the theme?
The game is about diving down with the goal of going deeper.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Most of the code is my work. I used ChatGPT for some of the game's more complex features.

Not a bad job, minimalistic graphics, but simple controls

I like those imperfect drawings!!! :)

I like the minimalist artstyle, it really reminds me of Newgrounds stuff from back in the flash era. The vignette effect on low oxygen is a good visual indicator. Took me a couple dives to figure out that the bubbles were, in fact, bubbles and safe to collect. Overall, a good jam game.

turning around took such a long time, I think this gameplay would be more suited for vertical play because I never got the oxygen unless I was in the area of it already. I think its a cute art style and it feels like an old mobile game like doodle jump. I enjoyed it

Art, music and gameplay were all a lot of fun. I don't know if others experienced this, but I kept feeling like the steering was inverted. Ha but that was probably just my own thing. Any way I liked how it felt and enjoyed the experience. On one of my dives I got almost no bubbles and the few that I saw were mostly off the screen. It might help to have something in the code that says there at needs to be at least x amount of bubbles or something. Other than that no critiques. Great game.

Loved the artstyle, had a really different take than other submissions. Gameplay was simple and fun to understand GG.

I love the art style, and the music is also pretty good. The gameplay is simple and pretty fun. Overall a fun and pretty well made little jam game.

Cool game! Enjoyed the simple aesthetic. Made me feel like I was playing an old school web game I'd play on the school computers. Good job!

pretty fun game, art style is unique and pretty clean and controls are pretty intuitive, i think the prices in the store are a bit high (or maybe thats just me) but overall a good experience

Developer

Thanks I made the prices a bit high so players needed to play a bit to get maxed stats.

I enjoyed the eerie music as im going down the water.
at first i thougt the bubbles were rocks that can hurt you so i avoided them  xd.

its pretty enjoyable.

Thanks, definitely could have made the bubbles look less like an obstacle. Didn't intend for the music to be eerie but I am glad it suited the game!
