Truly well done game! Runs smoothly; looks amazing and plays just like you would expect from an old arcade machine!

Submitted

Amazing visuals and music! Really sets the tone for an oldschool style racer like this.

Really nice looking, I always wanted to make a game looking like this because I do adore this style
Yeah as people have mentioned the camera movement is a bit quirky
And the overall movement with no advanced mechanics like drifting etc is a bit stale
The music and sounds are also really nice! The pixel art of the map is impeccable

This game was crazy good. The camera movement was a little much for me I think but besides that. It was really well done. The art style and everything was really really cool. And the 2d effect was super cool :)

A nostalgic game! The art style really got that 80s feeling, and the music and VFX complement it. The steering and overall driving are pretty good as well. Good job!

Submitted

Such a pleasant experience! It took back in a nostalgia trip
At first I struggled a bit with the controls, but once I got used it to them, the game felt great. Thanks for putting this together!

So far my favourite game here ! LOVE it ;p It  looks very professional and all the details are super well taken care of! <3 Pixel art looks amazing. Great job!

Really like it the steering may need a little fine tuning but nice game

Very well put together. I appreciate the extra info in the replies to previous comments! I plan on making a driving game at some point. I would like to see a rework of the old NES games Super Off Road and R.C. Pro-Am. Maybe I'll attempt something like that.

Very well-made game. Reminds me of the classic arcade games I was never good at. The music and visuals are top-notch. Keep up the great work!

This is great. You can feel the love for bitmap-based 3D racers. Awesome audiovisual style, too.

The car also looks and feels nice if you turn on the spot - not recommended for winning, but fun. :-)

really good looking game! Nice music too!

Impressive camera work! Classic arcade game, great feel and smooth controls. I'd say it's a release-ready game!

I'll tell Vee you liked it.  She had a lot of fun recording it.

Submitted

haha! yeah please do that! My wife in an earlier TriJam had lots of fun with voice recording too :) She was just not so happy, that she got the role of “scream like a dying vampire!” ^^

Developer

Haha, if you ever play a game series called 8 Bit Armies, the death screams are me.  The sound guy was laughing so hard while recording that.
