This is definitely one of my favorites of the game jam, great job! I love the death effects, and the ending is excellent XD

Very cool take on the theme! I really enjoyed it! I like evolution games anyway, liks spore and stuff. SO your game hit the right spot! A very cool entry to the jam!

Everything is really nice. Good use of colour in the pixel art, and definitely a fun evolving death mechanic. Only thing that really needs work is the sound.

nice upgrade system on death but maybe some checkpoints would help.

not my cup of tea of a game and my wife said the sfx were so annoying lol so i pressed shoot faster :)

There was something about this game that felt really good. The controls felt just right and each time I evolved I felt like a huge step up. The art style and colours were simple and fantastic.

A really nice little game! I really dig the art of the evolving character! Some more indication to how much hp I had at each stage would have been nice. And I am not sure I agree with having spatial sound in relation to what direction the character is facing :D I would have loved to have a final upgrade that allows to fly in there!

Such a wonderful mechanic dude! It feels like a great mixture of EVO and Kirby. You could easily turn this into a full game. I hope you don't abandon this project after the jam. Great job!

awesome game!  The art is neat and the controls are responsive , the concept is creative and the gameplay is very engaging , fun and challenging. The attributes of  enemy enhances the player when the player dies, this is  survival of the fittest or evolve or die, a branching skill/evolution tree would be nice, but this is sufficient to sustain an interesting game, which reminds me of a SNES game EVO. Overall I enjoyed playing this one! congratulations! keep it up!
