Quite a refreshing music toy of sorts. Kinda reminds me of the old, interactive CD-Rom games with mini games and widgets like this. I thought each combo of the musical elements complemented well together and sounded nice

While there wasn't exactly gameplay to it, I can appreciate the idea and sentiment behind it. Was a neat little thing to play around with and the continents had an interesting style to them.

Sorry, but I didn't really understand the concept here or what I was supposed to do.

I'm finding on  a lot of submissions the box on the page is just a tad too small to be able to hit the fullscreen button and when you hit the html "fullscreen" button you just get the same thing but with a black letterbox, which in your case cut off about half the UI on the left. Fortunately I could just make out 1 or 2 pixels of the Unity blue fullscreen logo that I could click and it worked fine. Not sure if just my browser or not but it is only happening on some games and not others.

As far as your game. Great concept. I'd like to see some sort of progression though. Maybe you can create a song for each continent and then when you're done all the continents come together for the final ensemble?

I think you should keep developing after the voting is done, looking forward to seeing more.

The game has an interesting idea: to mix up different melodies and instruments to make a song.

It would be nice if there was a scoring system depending on the song selected and how the people of that continent like it. Maybe have different endings depending on the score.

Good work!

the idea is really nice.. my ears just couldnt take it for long

That's totally fair. The music is basically placeholder music because I knew I was going to spend a lot more time than I wanted to on bug-fixing. Even though this is a really simple game, there were some beginner-level problems in the UI that totally blocked me, and used up a lot of the time I had; no time to make the music better, and I'm with you: I firmly believe the player deserves better music than I have to offer in this build.

Dont beat yourself up over it. Everybody starts somewhere. This idea was just so refreshing.

Very unique!  My game has no sound at all and a lot of the UI is bad.  Seeing this awesome sound and UI is a real motivator to do better.

Would be even better if there was some visual feedback to the music.  Maybe low poly birds/clouds moving at the speed of the music, that kind of thing?

Developer

Definitely! Having some really simple animations on each continent was my original design.  A friend of mine talked me into making a more simplified version for the jam, to make sure that I finish, Honestly, I might not have gotten done in time if I had tried the animations, but they would be the very next step if I were continuing with this project!

Congrats on completing the jam!
