Great game!

The gameplay along with the graphics and music create a really impressive atmosphere!

It would probably be good to rock the ship a little more when the robot is standing on the edges, thus adding even more balancing in addition to dodging objects :).

It was fun, congratulations!

I really love the pixel art style in your game! The concept is so fun and unique, and I’m enjoying the sound effects, especially the voiceover for “Life restored!” 🎤✨. The gameplay is smooth, but I do think it could get a little more challenging by introducing new elements or pushing the difficulty curve a bit.

Overall, awesome job! If you get a chance, I’d really appreciate it if you could check out my two jam games too and leave a rating. Best of luck with your future projects! 🚀

You have a README which is great (and it's really cool. Love the screenshots and emojis and text), and you'll also need a License file (these are two main criteria for open source category).

Love that the game goes full window by default. Love this. Super addictive, the graphics are fun (love all the tech toys that are falling down), the voice over for "Life restored" is gold! Music is great, and fits nicely, as do the sound effects. I like the touch you added of "rusting" so you had to move around. Great fun concept and well done.

Thank you so much for the feedback! :)
I'm really glad you enjoyed the experience — from the full-screen mode to the little details like the rusting mechanic, the falling tech toys, and the sound effects!

I've added the MIT license file to the repository to meet the open source category requirements. Thanks for pointing that out!

Really appreciate the support!

Yeah anytime.

Great effort, felt very complete!

Good job. I didn't know the framework you use before but it was a good choice. I really like the philosophy. Thank you for sharing.

also I liked the custom loading screen where it was plot driven rather than just saying "loading..."

High marks on all five, and I was excited enough to make a suggestion:

next thing you do is this:

have a different colored shield in the power ups where the -perverse- thing is that you get 2,4,8,16,32,64 points for getting hit on PURPOSE so that the player has to struggle with the temptation to stay under falling objects like Pac-Man going for the 4th ghost and the ghost's color is flickering? :)

You could pull tricks like that to get them drawn into taking Risks

Anyway if i thought of all-that, that's a sure sign you have a winner game on your hands.

Nicely done.

gave you an itch follow, if you like my thing(s) consider doing the same

i enjoyed it! the game is cool, but i feel like it was unclear that you had to avoid all items except for the boosts, since it was about balancing i kind of imagined you had to take some damage in order to keep the container afloat, asides for that, real cool game, i made it to 350 points or so, then things started to get too quick for me lmao

The control are good, music and sfx are nice. But I ran into a small problem; I was playing the game wrong.

I thought I had to stop the objects from hitting the floor and destabilizing the shipping container. I spent a good three minutes weighing out; taking damage, healing, shields and letting the items hit the floor. Keep in mind I thought as more items hit the floor the closer to losing I  was. Once I realized that the points were only going up when an item hit the floor; I proceed to play the game correctly.

Good game, the floating effect is great.

I feel like the game is a little too easy. It could perhaps be improved by letting some objects fall at an angle, and making the waves shove the crate around under you. I would also like, as a robot with boxing gloves, to be able to use my boxing gloves to punch objects out of the way for extra points.

The way the game looks is kinda inconsistent: some of it is pixel art, some of it is vector art, some of it is AI generated, some of it is futuristic, some of it is antiquated.

The music and SFX are quite good, I enjoyed that part.

I think you've got a solid base here. However, the game feels too easy (i stopped after reaching 2000+ points with full health), and after reaching about 800 points i stopped trying to avoid incoming damage and just focused on getting points & powerups. I think if you use more objects at a time/different objects with varying damage instead of just increasing their speed, you could have a better difficulty curve. Would also have loved to have waves push XR-77 to the left and right which could really make the gameplay more dynamic. Of course its a jam game so there is never enough time to do everything, and i think this could be a really fun mobile game if it's fleshed out ;)
