Hey this was quite cool, and I also liked that you offered a multiplayer option! I did had trouble though to find the moon! But managed to finish it! Find my gameplay video below:

Awesome, thanks for playing! You are the first one I see finishing the game and that quite fast ^^ Thanks for all the reviewing and videos. You are putting a lot of work in giving feedback. I appreciate it.

Interesting game, I like the idea of floating through space to find and take on the baddy.  I did find the controlling the ship a bit awkward, and I think there should have been more guidance to help you find the moon. But I think it looked good, and was a nice idea.

Great that you liked it. Thanks for playing :)

Yeah, the map can be quite big. It helps to use the guided missiles for orientation. When one comes at you, wait for it to see the direction its coming from. Then evade the missile and fly in that direction.

The game is not bad at all. Good gameplay, nice art and congrats for doing a multiplayer game! But I have seen 2 major issue, first I think the cooldown (of 7 seconds) for the shoot is really too long... and your stars background bright so much that it's catch my eyes every time, a little less opacity on stars would surely be better!
Overall good job  ;)

Developer

Thanks for playing and pointing out the issues :) We can certainly make the cooldown a bit shorter. The idea was simply to prevent spraying the laser shots around, but that should still be fine with a cooldown of 2 seconds (maybe with a bit less damage). The background is also a good point. We will work on that, thanks.

Congrats on getting a game submitted for a jam, especially a multiplayer one. I found it quite difficult to control my ship due to the turning sensitivity, although the brakes did help slightly. If that's part of the challenge then maybe zoom the camera out a little so incoming projectiles don't blindside you. Apart from that though the game is competently put together on a technical level and the multiplayer worked smoothly which is well above the bar for a first attempt at multiplayer. I didn't manage to complete the game but maybe if I had more friends I could have BIG LOL.

Thank you for playing and commenting! The controlls are part of the challenge, yes, but I think you are right. More overview could help and cause less unpreventable collisions. We can improve the FOV after the rating period :)

FYI the single player mode is a bit easier if you don’t have a team. The boss has less health and does less damage than in multiplayer.

My friends and I had some aggravating fun playing this, lol!

Happy you liked it ^^ Thanks for testing it in multiplayer.

I cant seem to access the game? As soon as the game starts, it asks for a code?

Developer(+1)

You can always play single player with the top button. The second button starts a multiplayer game and gives you a code. The third button lets you join a multiplayer game using a code. Sorry for the confusion.
