I enjoyed the graphics and the background music, and would have liked to see what the time travel looked like. Unfortunately, the cat meowing slowly ate away at my soul, while I fruitlessly mashed at my left mouse button. Even at 21 energy, I couldn't get the charge counter to go up.
This game made me want to kill my cat, I tried assigning buttons on my mouse (Enter and space) to be able to use two fingers on the click so I can tap faster but it wasn't enough. The sound of the cat makes it even more frustrating, I couldn't even accumulate 1/3 enery :(
Really great idea- and great sound and mood/graphics overall! Other than clicking the mouse was there a keyboard button you could click instead? My one comment was it seemed overly hard to click the mouse button fast enough to get energy up to 20, which made the game a bit hard to play and probably turns some players off early.
Good graphics and concept. That only point that bored me was the needs to click quickly for a long time. It can be tiring.
Good game. Great job!!!
Might be much more playable if you could just hold the mouse button down to gain energy.
The game is beautiful, and the concept is fascinating... I wish I could see more of it!
The graphics and audio are great and really make me want to play the game. With that said, there are some gameplay issues. It took me forever to realize you are supposed to keep clicking rapidly in order to keep walking and build up energy. Also, I was never able to get any higher than 14 energy no matter how fast I clicked.
Overall, I really like the concept and the presentation, but the gameplay needs some balancing and/or better explanation.
Thanks for your kind words. Indeed we work on changing the inputs to add energy: You will soon feed the cat with running-by mice. With tapping on a touch device it works okay, but you’re right that it’s nearly impossible with clicking.
Other things planned to come during the next days are an explanation page and some visual improvements for collecting energy and charging batteries. So, quite some things in progress!
I run into the same issue, 14 seems to be the limit for normal human. But indeed concept and graphics are great !
