This game explains why I've never seen orange rocks out in the wild.
It's a fun game with a nice art-style and animations. I ignored all advice about not eating too many fish and instead became the chonker I was destined to be. Level 3 rekt me, though

hahah yeah that might be the reason we don't find this kind of rocks if not underwater. Well done, you are the first one that actually ignored the advice and noticed that animation.
Thank you for giving it a try and I appreciate the art worked out. I spend more time doing art than programing, that's why I didn't have a chance to polish the levels before the submission deadline.
That was more like reverse flappy bird . fun little game, I will give it another go later I really want to get to the end, the shark came out of no where and gave me a scare lol. So the heath bars are a nice touch instead of one hit and die. your krita skills are impressive that shark looks menacing. and thanks for sharing that link to the godot shaders, I too tried to use a shader with my game to add a water waving effect to the back ground and the player it is really subtle .
when your game starts it goes full screen but the game does not fill the screen for me. I think that there may be 2 ways that my fix this, in godot project settings set stretch mode to canvas items , or in itch set the game window size to the size of your game window .
Awesome, thank you so much for the help!, I was indeed having issues with the screen resolution as on my desktop the waves looks smaller but when I submitted to itch.io, the waves got bigger. I will give it a try. I have set the manual size on itch.io but didn't tried the canvas items config. appreciated all the feedback!! the shader just in case is for the background sun and water, for the waves I have followed this tutorial:
Very cute! I love the choice of an otter as the character and the fact that you have to collect rocks, as otters do use them as tools. I was a little bit frustrated with the hit box, and how precisely you had to make the otter's head hit the fish and rock, but I got used to it after a while. Overall, a delightful little game!
yeah, they use the rocks as tools, Otters are really fun, I wanted then to have some additional movements for it, but didn't have the time to do it. happy to hear that you find it cute. I agree I got frustrated my self trying to collect and eat, I need to work on getting that polished to do not be so easy but either so difficult.
So much fun! The otter made a total difference to the game's identity :)
Cool game :) I liked how the fish tried to dodge out of your way instead of just swimming in a straight line. Made it a little tougher to make sure that you're well fed. 🐠 I feel like some different music/visuals (even something simple like different coloured rocks) for each new level would've helped them feel fresher and more unique. Still though, great job! :D
I had fun playing through the first level - the second level felt a little bit repetitive although the sharks were a good addition!
Cute game ! I like the fish designs and them running away along with the hostile fishes gives the game just the right amount of challenge. I don't know if this is a bug but I couldn't pick up orange rocks that are in front of the sea plant decoration thing. Overall , great job !
