It should be a simulator kind of game! I actually really loved this! I'm one of those people who loves watching videos with very satisfying outcomes, like power washing, or unclogging things, or extracting fine bones from a fish! This scratched such an itch and I definitely played all the way to the end. Really unique concept and great entry. Loved it!

Developer

Thank for playing . I think from all the feedbacks I'm receiving, people tend to like it as in simulator game, where the game are satisfying. I tried to add sound effects and effects to make it even more satisfying, but unfortunately I didn't have enough time to make UNITY PARTICLE SYSTEM.  I really appreciate the feedback!

it reminds me of operation and i love that game! I would say when I tried to play it in browser the instructions were cut off so i could only see a little bit of what you said. Either way fun game!

Developer

Thanks for playing and giving feedbacks. I'm sorry for the inconvenient. I'm not quite sure how to make the resolution or the size the same for every size of resolution. I'm glad you like the game thankyou!!

This is a game where i wish there was a high score mode :3

Developer

Thanks for playing and feedbacks. I actually thought about making it into a game like cookie clicker where you can upgrade stuff. And also level by level, or just with high score. But then I decide to make it have nothing to see the feedbacks and what people would like to see or thought of it.

fun little game. i liked the beeps when you feel the bones.

Developer

Thanks for playing and feedbacks. The beep was actually an idea from my friend who play test and it worked really well.

probably an educational game, because there's an educational fact on the main menu.
would also say that this perfectly encapsulates my feelings about bones in fish fillets so i'd agree that it's a simulation game

Developer

Thanks for playing and feedbacks. I was thinking at first of making it a educational game. But then I cant really figure a way to make it fun in that way, so I decided to go into kind of a simulation route.

funny game, reminds me of operation games XD

Developer

Thanks for playing. Mm I guess the fish is pretty similar to the operation game. Appreciate your feed back.

The game idea is very original. It reminded me of the time when I worked as a cook xD The only thing I missed is that maybe the pliers could damage the piece of salmon, like with each wrong 'pinch,' the quality of the piece would decrease, 100%, 99%, 98%, etc.

Developer

Thank for playing! I was thinking of adding some feature like the temperature of the salmon dropping when touching it too much, and feature like that. But I only have like 2 days for the entire game jam because I was late so I decided to go for the simple game. I really like that idea too of damaging the fish with the plier. Appreciate your feedbacks.

Satisfying to pull the bones, but we couldn't find the last one! I think my game screen was cropped off because part of the salmon was off screen.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for playing!! I'm glad you enjoy the game. I'm not sure how to make the screen always the same for unity. But I'll definitely learn how to do it by the next game jam. I appreciate the feedbacks.

thats one good looking salmon side. i was actually stoked to find each bone, and it felt really good to get them all out. definitely the best mmorpg i've ever played lol. would call it a simulation/casual game myself

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing !! I actually spent way too much time on the salmon and I really appreciate your feedbacks. I tried to make it satisfying or the feeling of solving something when you found the bone.
