This pixel world is really charming with all it's wildlife and roaming characters. The world generation seems to work pretty well, although I was very confused with theses "cliffs", not understanding the one I can cross and the ones I cannot.

I didn't really want to fight those cute and peaceful animals, befriending them would have been nice, but I didn't manage to do so (it seems I hit them with mushrooms instead >.<).

Congrats for the work you put in there!

This game is really nice and atmospheric! The cute sprites, the calm birds chirping in the background, the leaves slowly floating through the air and the random animals you come accross. It looks and sounds amazing! I had a lot of fun just walking around and seeing what I would come accross :D

I tried to fight as well, but I must say it was very difficuly for me, haha. The lowest level creature I found was a level 2 piglet, but even that was too hard for me. I had to get really close in order to do damage with my sword, but then I was in range of the creature as well. I guess I am just bad at this >_< Maybe a bit of knockback on the attacks would make it feel a bit better?

I would also add some clear direction for the player at the very beginning. Just to push them in the right direction and let them know what they are supposed to be doing. Right now I just started walking randomly, and started hitting people with my sword (I found out later I could use E to interact). It was also not very clear to me how I could get the stuff that I was tasked to find. I killed a piglet in the end, but that did not give me anything :/

Criticism aside, I really like the game, even though I was not able to fight much. Just walking around and enjoying the atmosphere was already a lot of fun! Amazing submission for the jam! Thanks a lot for making this and good luck with the rest of the development :D

FUN Game! The pixel art is the most stand out feature for sure. It's a vibrant and colorful world you have created. I could imagine spending hours questing and gathering loot in Pixelworld. look forward to seeing more progress on development!

Hey, really cool project! It looks great in terms of visuals and sound. I think that this is the kind of game that will have players really invested in it. Unfortunately, for the nature of the Jam, we don't have time to evaluate all aspects of it, but we can tell that you are putting a lot of energy in it. Maybe starting an early access release to gather feedback from players might be good for the dev cycle. But TBH this is just an idea, I know nothing about it. Cheers!

Really nice work on this!  Very ambitious game!  Really liked the customization and depth!  Nice art and fun to play too! -great job!! :D

I've been following the development of this game for over a year. So glad to get the chance to play a public beta. This game is an amazing crossover between CubeWorld and Stardew Valley with tons of other fun elements mixed in. Not to mention a beautiful art style and sound track to boot.

It's a really cool game.  But as a new player, I don't know what to do. All the mobs around me are way stronger. the NPCs give quest to find carrots, but I cannot find them either.

a procedurally generated RPG where you can interact (destroy bushes) is a good idea. I think this game is in the right direction :)
