I was also hoping it would turn out like that, thanks for playing!

Thanks!

So we win the game by holding all the buttons at once ? XD

It's a Godot game so 5 stars

Thanks for playing (and even winning too!!??) tbh I planned to add a boss fight in the end but decided to stop making games for a while so this game is kinda left unfinished

Thanks for playing! I like how you use boost to kill enemies often which is something most new players tend to forget about entirely

It's beautiful

Crazily well designed game. At first, I placed the sunflowers together, but multiple sunflowers are always targeted this way and I can't save them all. So I spread them out and it made it much easier. The scarecrows can both block your sunflowers escape, but it can also be used to stop the farmers, which is extremely satisfying to pull off. I tried to trap the farmer at the corner of the field by two scarecrow, but it will take a few more tries to pull off. So far I get 6 points. Time to play again for higher score.

- I don't get "Press space to restart", instead I see "reset in code"

- There are times when I want to use two corns to move a scarecrow to block the farmers, but the corns don't grow in the order that I want. Would be nice if the growth order is based on the player's plant order.

- knowing exactly which tile each farmers are going in what order would also help

- sometimes the scarecrow spawn at the corner or get pushed to the corner, rendering them useless, a way to push them away from the corner would be nice too

Great game as always, Wuppos!

The cookie clicking effect is satisfying. I feel stupid after clicking for about 300 times XD

The music is really nice, I keep it playing for a while while writing this comment and letting the cookie click itself.

Nice game. It was longer than I expect.

Wow quite an intense game. With interesting concept too. Does the egg get inside other animals an hatch into a mutant chicken? The particle effect when launching an egg is a weird black square, is this intentional? Like Bumblebeans said, longer music loop could really help improve the game

The music is really good. I'm convinced I'm in space because of it. After eating the first meal kit, the hunger stops depleting, could be a bug? I assume the game is still not completed because all I could do was running around, loot some items, pick up crafting recipes, and talking to NPCs

hahaha quite a unique name you got. Glad to know you liked it

Pretty cool prototype. I don't really know how to play it though.

It took me some time to understand the behaviour of the monsters, but once I started to understand, it became a fun and interesting puzzle game. I got stuck at level "Hostage", not sure how to get to those red friends inside the box.

I think adding an arrow to show where the monsters are going will help new players learn about their behaviour easier

Thanks for the feedback. It's good to know that someone actually wants to play more of it ^^

Haha that would be great. I might need to add a "highscore" system, but for submitting the name. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for checking it out! I'm intrigued to see your take on the tavern-name generator. A game based entirely on partially random generation sounds really cool.

There's no full-screen option on itch? I can do it with Godot game, maybe it's the same with unity

After twenty tries, I'm still in at 90% T_T. It's a nice concept for the game.

Would be good if you could add fullscreen option.

It's really cool that you're getting into procedural generation. This game gave me ideas for a future game that I may make!

I like it. This fits the theme of the jam nicely. Tried both of the generator, The adventure one is fun to do.

I want more!!!! :D

Very nice. You always have cool ideas for a new fun game :D

I practiced making 3D game following GDQuest's "Squash the Creeps" tutorial. I used one of your song for the game, and it really improves the game!

https://tanasak.itch.io/squash-the-creeps

Good game. The move sound even sync with the animation, which is really cool.

Did you not upload an HTML version because there's a problem with it? I made a squash the creeps of my own, but there seems to be a problem with HTML version

Tried the new update. The new boss is really cool. I could not find the lurking guy though, and not sure how to use the cheat code on a keyboard hehe

This is nice. I didn't know you made all the songs yourself. They sound like they are made by someone who knows about music theory. I might use them in a new game if I ever make one ^^

How did you get 100 points, I can only get to 50 XD

The pixel art looks nice, The color you chose works really well together.

Is something wrong on my end or there is no sound?

good game, polished and high quality as always, I got 103 points.

You have index.zip, but it's only for downloading, not for playing online, so you might wanna change that ^^

Also love the font style on this page, makes my comment look so pretty hahah

Very good game idea. The tutorial/intro set the scene and blend into the game nicely. The wave of big guys creates difficulty spike that keeps the game exciting without being too stressful all the time.

Regarding the intro, I think the game will be more replayable if we can skip it the second time around.

It's a fun game that I like to play again whenever there's something new to check out :)

I see. Does this mean that you have to carefully place each 16x16 tile one at a time to create a bigger one for every room or is there a trick to automate this process?

Excellent Update!! The dashing has also been updated right? I enjoy using it to evade enemies a lot more than the one before. Dashing around while waiting for the enemies to kill themselves before finishing off the remaining was a delight. I noticed the triangle man change, found out that if you stand at the right spot he can never hit you haha.

I found two bugs:

Sometimes when after you reloaded, the reload reminder still won't go away.

One time when Ro was killed by a rusher, she can still move.

This is super nit-picking but the lanterns around the chest are not y-sorted, so I can see my character's feet overlapping it XD

Did you use tilemap to make the room? I tried to see how it's done, but some tiles are just smaller than another so I'm not sure.

Good to know that you like the game! Yes, the projectiles are unavoidable, the only way to stop it is by shooting at it. Thanks for letting me know that it wasn't clear for you, I'll try to communicate it better.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm happy to hear that you find it satisfying to shoot multiple enemies quickly, I like it to :) Letting players try powers before starting the game could be a good idea, I'll try it.

For the final boss, was it clear to you that you could not avoid the fireball attack and the only way to stop it is by shooting at the fireball? some people seem to have problem with this, I'll have to work on that too.

Yes I only started learning in October, this one is probably my first original game. (still need to follow step by step from a lot of tutorial videos though :P) Thanks for all the support from everyone, it is really encouraging for me :D

Cool platformer game!! It has a lot of traps that are hard to spot and cost me many lives. (but I guess that's what traps are) The games has coins and signs that help direct and teach new players on the game mechanic. nice!

One thing I want to point out is that it can be hard sometimes to tell what is a solid wall and what is not. For example the cave wall on the second level and some dark stones that hang from the ceiling.

Platformers are hard to make in my opinion, so what you have here is super impressive :D

Ah ok I tried the combination and it worked. It was just hard to get it right because I don't know what the combinations are.

Thank you very much !
