This is the first game I've ever published, and my first game attempt in about 5 years. I was inspired by the Jam's message, and started it two weeks ago. Thanks for getting us all off our butts!

Cool game! as someone who's tried to make a Puyo Puyo clone in the past, I know how hard that can be, >-< I like the use of the grid, it gives it a very simple but artsy look to Puyo. My only complaint is probably how slowly the Puyo fell when not controlled by the player, like after starting a chain, for instance. Nice work ^^

Solid tetris game, liked the swap mechanic.

good old tetris.

Pretty solid Tetris clone! It could have used some audio but other than that, a cool app! ^ ^

I always enjoy a good block-stacking game!

Does pausing affect the score or anything? I was surprised to be able to pause the game to plan out moves. Also, the "down" key felt unresponsive (it wouldn't drop immediately when I hit the key, and then it would seem to drop farther after I had already let up).

Bonus points for using Lisp :)

Thanks for playing!

Pausing does not affect the score - indeed, you can ‘plan’ while paused in the current version. I’ve seen games hide the board/queue when paused to prevent this, and may add that in - probably worth doing before adding any kind of saved/shared high scores.

I’ll look into the down interaction - it seemed mostly felt fine from my testing, but there are times when the responsiveness feels odd. Probably a bug or optimization problem in there.

For a first published game, really well made!

Good ol' tetris, a small twist would've been great but otherwise, well done!

Agreed - I’d originally hoped to do something more creative - I will have to advance the plot more with a future release. Especially after seeing all the variants on the tetris wiki, and the other great games submitted here.

Thanks for playing!
