This is a really solid snake game, the idea of a multiplier is really clever and elevates the Snake formula to a new level. The art is nice, too! I like the apple colors you picked, it sets them apart from one another and makes the snake really fun to look at as it grows. Nice work ^^

Finally! This might not look like much, but it took me 3.5 years with one or two hours of work every now and then - usually at night after family went to bed and sometimes with month long pauses because life.
I forced myself to finish it now in January after having had it as my new years resolution for 3 years. I just went through the backlog and marked the remaining features as "next version". Great feeling.
It's snake the way I always wanted it to be; fast, skill based with a touch of luck. It's the kind of game you will absolutely suck at the first time, but then you start figuring it out and get the timings right. Even when you become really good, there's always a change that special apple appears at just the right moment.
Anyway, nuff ranting. Hope you enjoy.
Oh, by the way. If the Global Highscore still has 1841 at the top then that's mine. Can you beat it?
