Nice adventure! I played through both endings in a row and can’t stop searching if there is something else that I may have missed. The atmosphere and the plot are intriguing and mysterious. The game definitely has some strong vibes of Groundhog Day since you return to the starting point after finishing your day. I first thought that was a part of the plot (or is it indeed?) And if it is, it would be best to give the player some hint that the game progresses, although he has to go through all the same scenes once again. One interesting thing was that after returning to the house for the first time, I found the pathway to the left unlocked. However, the character doesn’t want to go there, which leaves the strange feeling that either you missed something or there is still some part of the game waiting to be implemented. Anyway, thank you for the memorable experience!

Jam Host

Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 6! My name's Hythrain, and I'm one of the hosts and streamers for this event! This feedback is being written live on my stream.

First, why mushroom? I don't want mushroom. Mushroom bad.

Ok, got that out. This was a cute little game that was fun to play. Very simplistic visuals and music, works really nice for a short tale. However, I found a few things you may want to try and address. The snake has a second dialogue that just results in a blank box. If you don't talk to the snake and keep collecting dust, you refer to talking to the snake. Similarly, the first fae you come across will have you mention the snake even if you don't talk to it. Since you have different dialogue with the mouse depending on if you take the book, it should be possible to add other flags for those as well. Lastly, when you're in the fae forest with music, the music will cut out while talking with someone. Feels weird to me.

That's it from me! Love it! <3

Really liked the style of the game. Music was perfect. Nicely done. 🙂

P.s Got stuck collecting Fae dust. Picked everything up and still couldn't progress with the story.

Wow, there is a PLOT, a STORY, a TALE! Simple but nice. Movement input skips the text windows, so I have skipped some lines on accident, but not like i have missed something important (please fix!).

This was probably something I did wrong, but I couldn't get the controls working- the little dog just would not move, no matter what I did. I tried both sets of arrow keys, with and without number lock on.

Maybe the problem is the web version? I can see other people were able to play it. If anyone has any answers, please lmk- this looks fun and cute and I want to play it!

Okay, after a hotfix has been applied, I'm playing the game For Real This Time, here are my thoughts:

1) The Nokia vibes are strong with this one. The controls are incredibly awkward, the pixels are simplistic, and that's rather the point- it does exactly what you want it to do. I love the aesthetic SO MUCH.

2) I stepped on the floating sparkling particles my first playthrough. Oh my goodness, I love your choice of colour palette and the music- it's so nostalgic, really evokes the kind of games you're emulating.

3) I unfortunately tabbed through the text box where the snake tells you what to do too quickly and missed that information! I think I might have softlocked myself- there's only one way to continue, and it's through the locked door.

This is a really cool game, and figuring it out yourself is part of the mystery- but I am confused about how to proceed, and might need to start over.  You said in your first comment that this is your first game ever? It's *incredibly* well-done. Simple and elegant.

not your fault! Entirely mine, when I updated to add an NPC, I accidentally removed the player character :’) thank you for telling me, I’m getting it fixed now and should be repaired in about ten minutes.
