Just made my let’s play on your game as a regular player (so it’s without voice comments). I hope it will be useful for you to see how fresh players might start your game for the first time :) I’ll provide text comments later, probably after finishing the videos for the other projects :)

Fun game! I like it!

A cute little puzzle game with a not-too-strong learning curve. I like the fields that give help and sometimes first have to be reached by themselves with some small combination... Moving around the ice cubes felt at first a bit weird, but then I got a hang of it.

Possible improvements:

- The UI is a bit strange, in that it uses keyboard and mouse/keypad. It would be better to somehow have a key to activate the ice. I know it's sometimes not clear which ice you want to activate, but maybe that can be changed? Alternatively, the key might toggle through the available ice cubes or you might move entirely to mouse and offer buttons to click for the four directions as well. Switching back and forth between keyboard and mouse as it is now felt a bit awkward to me.

- The music is - weird. Is there a bug? I can hear some nice and fitting sounds and music and then most of the time an overlay of annoying sounds as if my computer was on fire or something is crumbling into pieces. I had to switch it off.

- The art is working, nothing fancy or impressive, but clear. A bit more style might be nicer.

What's funny: one key idea (move without stop and getting to the exit) happens to be used by a mini-game in my entry to the competition as well (somewhere in Chapter 2). I was really amused by that, given that this concept hasn't been used much recently in games, I thought. :D

EDIT: Given the other comments on the sound being great... Umm... I don't think it's different tastes. Then the judgement couldn't be so different! Maybe there's something wrong with the Mac version that cripples the sound? (I was running it on a Mac.)

hi, thanks for the feedback! i received some similar comments about the sound that helped me narrow down what this might be. have you gone into the audio settings and flipped the "toggle vinyl noise" option to off? does that fix the issue you're having?

Awesome game! Sound/Music 10 out of 5. Very nice puzzles from simple mechanics. The tutorials are a little challengin, but I guess that's alright since you are warning the game is hard and you probably won't enjoy it if you struggle with those tutorial . I don't have any suggestions because the game is so polished and expertly designed, great job!

Wow this was great! I loved the puzzles - the mechanics were introduced nicely, and the levels were just the right level of difficulty.

The sounds seemed a bit loud maybe?

Really well polished! I enjoyed the addition of elements and challenges but struggled to understand some tutorials right away. Really liked the minimal art style.

Yeah this one goes hard! Super polished and the soundtrack is seriously good 🎵

Very cool puzzle game! I also love the art style, it fits so well and the level editor is a great addition to it!
