The movement feels good and I liked the music. It gave the feeling of floating on up high.
Theme from brief description was sun v. moon? Not sure i really felt it in the game.
The ice creams cones I assumed were enemies, but they couldnt hurt me.
So really this became more of an easter egg/purple disk hunt, and then "touch blue to win the game!"
And I won!
Yeah, you have a good start here, but you clearly didn't have the time to finish the mechanics you wanted. A pity, because the art style is interesting and looks like it could've been something nice. But maybe you'll keep working on it.
I won!
Always feels good to beat a game even though I don't think that I could lose this one.
I wonder what you had planed for this? There seem to be traps and enemies and so on but nothing seems to be implemented/working yet.
Also I agree with the others, don't mix animated transitions with instant turning, its confusing. And if you want to stick with transitions please make them fast and snappy.
The music and graphics are nice. Movement feels good yet in a bigger project it would probably still benefit from a way or another to walk faster.
Will you work further on the game?
Thank you for the compliments! I appreciate the feedback, me and my team are gonna meet this Wednesday to discuss the game and our future plans regarding developing this game or any others down the line.
Soundtrack slaps, yes. Easy, but catchy. Quite a nice touch with the credit menu in there too, by the way!
I've spend ungoodly amount trying to figure out how to attack... I guess it wasn't implemented on time though? Its shame - weapon looked cool enough to swing around for a bit.
Small feedback on the movement - I enjoyed overal movement feel but it was odd thing to have move and straife to be smooth and then just instant turns, when screen just snaps to position. Its generally better to have same movement/turn choice so it won't be confusing at start and it feels better that way.
Would also love just slight feedback from the game on a button press - sound, text ("something moved"), anything. That way player would see that something changed and would go investigate... instead of trying to catch floating things like I did!
This soundtrack goes hard
Thank you dude! I appreciate it!
